- The latest round of the @uci_mtbworldseries came with its tough decisions, and polarising opinions as the Junior Downhill Race was cancelled due to challenging riding conditions. Overnight storms had resulted in a track that saw many juniors crashing in practice and the decision was taken to work on the track so that Sunday's racing could go ahead.
The trail crew worked tirelessly to make a functional race and we got to see one of the most innovative and exciting new downhill courses in action. Prior to this, the Enduro crew were also in action, on an altered schedule due to rain they rode in fantastic conditions, taking in 5 stages of some of the best singletrack in the valley. Let's find out results, insight and more from Neil Donoghue and Rich Payne.

I kind of feel like they could have cancelled the elite semi's and had the Jnr's instead. On balance I think this would have gone down better with everyone. I feel like it was sheer stubbornness to prove the concept of elite semi's is good. Rather than on balance what is best for DH for a sport.
Move the juniors later in the day considering it looked like it was drying up and some of the juniors were saying it was rideable… or ditch the elite semis and run the juniors before them.. if they think a track is fully “un-rideable “ just wait until the last two rounds in North America where we could see snow in both locations
Good luck Rich for the marathon 👊🏻
How can a show be so late?
No one els put up their Go pro footages up, for that critical part of the track. My bet is that all the top riders took the inside of that turn, so until anything els is proven, Jack won the race🤔🤔🤔🤷♂️
Why is it NEVER brought up how pissed people are at the UCI this year. There have been so many dumb rule changes and the lack of availability to watch the races is incredibly detrimental to the sport. The comments are always full of this, but no one in the industry wants to actually say anything. It's getting pretty lame that you won't address these OBVIOUS issues.
