Trust me I hate when people hack up good dirtbikes for scrambler builds, but that thing legit probably works better in the dirt now than it did stock. And he didn't do anything to it that cant be un-done. Thats still a good off road bike, and it looks cooler now. Plus sweet exhaust and FCR carb. And top of it all, he did a damn good job on the build. I hate scrambler builds, but that bike is sick.
Opravdu moc pěkně předělané. Ze stareho Déera motorka, co přinese zase ten spravny pocit z jezdeni, jako kdyz jsme byli mladsi😉 alespon za mě. Dobrá prace!!
I like it, when I saw so much negative comment, I thought that the result would be a total failure, but otherwise, You surprise me, friend! nice color, beautiful tires, recursive use for the skate... What foam do you use for the seat? A greeting and good work. (Sorry my translate).
Awesome build, what bike donated their gas tank? and how did you mount it? Also what kind of foam and tape was used for the seat? How is it holding up?
this is a pro project performed at home!!! it`s belissima!! maybe one day i`ll have the courage!I`m just scared of the frame cutting. is it really necessary?
Very nice!!! My project is a scrambler from Dr Big 800 and i have almost the same things as you - aliexpress front light (the same, mine has no grill), blinkers, speedometer etc... I like your bike very much!!! I like that you are keeping the front wheel on 21. Is that a yoga carpet that you use for your seat?!?!?
Hi Atanas, Thx for a positive comment. My scrambler is not finished. I am now repairing the engine. Seat it is only a temporary solution /yoga carpet + textile tape :) . Do you have photo or video BIG 800? Sorry for my english language.

You obviously like to make things but I don't see how you have improved that bike. & you obviously expect to never ride in the rain. Thanks for the video.
What heavy junk are you referring to? The smaller gas tank? The side panel that’s half the size of the original? The headlight that’s half the size of the original? The pipe that weighs a fraction of the original?
Hi, headlight is from Aliexpress - price 38 EUR with CE. Search title (Vintage Black Metal Grill+Metal Bracket+Metal Headlight Fits For CG125 GN125 CB200 CB400 CL Yamaha XJ Cafe Racer Bobber Custom)
I’ve heard they’re decent, on ADV big bikes anyways. Just got a set of Anakee 3s to swap the knobbies on the 93 Frankenstein. I’ll be the first to admit my DR was a POS. Had to rebuild with whatever was available, wasn’t trying to restore to ugly original look. No offense but they didn’t get the looks right until 96. Up until then you have to put your own flavor of stuff on it. I do like that tank you got, what model and year was that off?
Ruining dirt bikes?? That's an oxymoron right? I don't know anyone who babies their dirt bikes. They certainly aren't art pieces. As for the used bike market, it's HIS BIKE! He can do whatever the heck he wants to with it!
I bought a '90 DR 350 some time ago. Only reason I bought it was it was in such nice shape for what the guy was asking. I felt like I stole it from him. What a POS tank that thing was...a real hard starting heavy ass POS pig-dog motorcycle it was. Suddenly I realized why the guy didn't want much for it. And I wanted even less than I paid for it after only a couple months owning it. Sold it to a neighbor that I don't like so much...ha ha. Anyway can't even begin to imagine how much more of a heavy POS tank the DR 650's are. Perhaps a couple more HP and a lot more weight. Not a good bike to do anything to IMO...except maybe sell it and find something better and that ain't hard...
I dig it dude. Anybody who doesn’t like it probably hasn’t tried sourcing parts for pre-96 DR and has no clue parts are as steep as vintage bikes like Bultacos and Maicos. I like the side panel route you took. Those aren’t widely available and frankly the older ones weren’t too pretty. My 93 is without at the moment and this just inspired me to fab my own up. Gotta ask though is the headlight you went with as good as the DR’s original? I tried an aftermarket eBay type and put the original back on....with an 03 headlight shroud = $50. That’s what I mean about lack of aftermarket parts. Not like your run of the mill 450 or 250 where you can get plastic kits and seat covers for less than $200. Nice build, seems practical.
Trust me I hate when people hack up good dirtbikes for scrambler builds, but that thing legit probably works better in the dirt now than it did stock. Always have liked to look at a bike I can see thru. Alot of careful work. Saved money not spent on luggage. Nice pics.
Nice work and thanks for sharing!
That’s awesome, I’m riding a DR now and love it but always think it could look way better. Good job with yours.
Holy shit I would LOVE to ride something like that! :)
Love it🤘🏻looks a million times better than original...well done.
Thank you very much Alyx.

So beautiful ! Congratulation for your work !
What is the new tank of the moto please ?
Awesome build, what bike donated their gas tank? and how did you mount it? Also what kind of foam and tape was used for the seat? How is it holding up?
Its stock, at 5:05 he sands his old tank about 15 seconds later he shows it painted blue.
Really cool bike, respect to the owner
But for my opinion the Acrapovic can is not suitible here
this is a pro project performed at home!!! it`s belissima!! maybe one day i`ll have the courage!I`m just scared of the frame cutting. is it really necessary?

after the work done, has the motorcycle become heavier?
no, the motorcycle is at least 15 kg lighter
@@vladimirv.337 15 kilos is a lot on 160kilos bike . mice weight reduction, sweet looking bike too.
You obviously like to make things but I don't see how you have improved that bike. & you obviously expect to never ride in the rain. Thanks for the video.
It looks 10x better and is lighter and less bulky.
The fuel tank it is a direct fit or did you need to modify the tank/frame?
it is only necessary to move the handle on the frame by 2 cm
@@vladimirv.337 Thanks for the answer :)
Very Cool. What were the chosen tire?
Hi.Thnx. Tires are Mitas E9 made in Czech republic.
Thx, I'll have to see how accesible they are in Canada.
What is the prize to the bike with modification
Nice bike bro
Как называеться этот стиль мотоциклов ? Нравиться до жути 😄😄😄

What's up with people taking perfectly good dirt bikes and throwing heavy junk on em
Hobby
Vladimir V. Fair enough
What heavy junk are you referring to? The smaller gas tank? The side panel that’s half the size of the original? The headlight that’s half the size of the original? The pipe that weighs a fraction of the original?
What is the headlight you put?

The front fork is too long for my taste, but other then that great build!
Thnx heladar
I like 'em tall. Makes her look like a Lost Boys, 80s biker punk motorcycle.

Seat it is only a temporary solution /yoga carpet + textile tape :)
Hahahahahaha 😂 the brand of the yogacarpet, please.
Seatcover made of ''temporarily'' :)
Ok some people don’t know sarcasm
What music did ya'll use throughout this vid?
Daniel Justeigt - All I See Is You

Hola oye
Bella la moto ma le saldature che hai fatto le fa mio figlio di 13 anni
What tank is that?
Suzuki DR 400 1981
They should have not painted the tank
I had to. In the technical note blue is color
con la linea del tanque igual a la del sillin quedaria mucho mejor la moto
Nechcel som upravovať rám motocykla.
the fuel tank that suzuki is ..?
From Suzuki DR 400 1984
@@vladimirv.337 Was it a direct fit or did you need to modify the tank/frame? Thanks
Sacrilegious, ruining dirt bikes. Thanks for making the used dirt bike Market more expensive
still cheap ass bikes lol, spend too much time in moto forums regurgitating retarded opinions, get out and ride bitch
this is a fucking machine, stop beeing an idiot
I don't see the Problem. Its His bike and he can do whatever he wants with it.

One good rain and that seat will be ruined. Just like the rest of the bike.
Rain will ruin the bike?
I could take that apart... But putting it back together .. nope
Такой класний мотцикл изуродивали ! ФУУУУ

use bike wrecks for building scramblers or caferacers.... but leave good bikes alone please.
trailer bike know, no good for off road or rain. just for dry pavment what a waste

yet another useable good trail bike reduced to scrap. what's wrong with these people.

Hmm... a video of pictures.
Well, if that's the way you wanted your DR to look. As long as you're happy with it, so be it.
