I played with the idea for a while and decided there have been enough "crushes" and "destructions". No more! But many more videos will be uploaded from this event...
I think bishop h8 for Carlsen wins, preventing the black queen to come on c1 for the check mate and threatening check mate on next move with Qg7. Black can cover with pawn, then bishop takes if it covers with knight same, bishop takes. Any thoughts?????
Před 9 lety
then black takes on g5 chek, King capture, then black Queen g2, after takes on f3, etc.... that was why Carlsen did not play Bh8 (obviusly he did not see mate on c1 ! xD)
luis fernando lacerda No. How avoid the mate? White king is checked by the black queen, cannot move to his round cases (e3 queen, f3 own pawn, g3 bishop, e4 own pawn, f4 queen, g4 black pawn, e5 knight, f5 black pawn, g5 own pawn). The only move : knight d3, but then queen takes, is protected by the knight and that's a checkmate.
wow, Radjabov won with the King´s Indian Defence against Carlsen, that´s pretty impressive considering that almost all top GM´s agree that you can play it at the highest level; but i play it all the time too; and Radjabov is number 1 autorite in the world on that awesome apening:)
No peice exchange after 4 min of play. Radjabov was really strategic avoiding carlsen style. he was about to loose the queen with Qh2!. finaly mate!. good game.
@BlackSN8K Or, you know, it was because carlsen had 3 seconds on his clock, but yeah I agree it's pretty badmannered not fixing it himself, especially considering he was even up on time...
As i was watching it, I was expecting Bh8 after Qa1 by Carlsen... but there came the shocking blunder Qa8?? What could be black's defense after Bh8. I don't see any good defensive moves other than Bg5+ for black.
The only reason why Carlsen blundered was because of Radjabov's cheap trick of not properly placing his queen inside of the square, hence, made him confused... Plus, the psychological effect of "mistakenly" touching his queen was another great devious trick!!!
Actually in another chess video,"Magnus Carlsen vs Boris Savchenko", I believe Carlsen got disqualified because he released the piece, then moved it again, and lost after savchenko complained about it.
White should play 1.Bh8 (2.Qg7#) but here black can avoid mate by sacrificing his Bishop by 1...Bxg5 and after 2.Kxg5 2.Qg2+ black has a perpetual check.
@Tiller88 Take a better look, Magnus got mated himself. The only thing he can do is to put the knight in front of the king, which will be taken by the black queen anyway.
@ 3:00 can't understand why Carlsen plays g4 so prematurely... his Bishops and Knights are passive, his queen asleep, his King has nowhere to run??? Anyone with a clue?
yeah but if you release a piece you have no choice but to hit the clock you can't go and move it back and move another piece instead so not releasing the piece is the important part.
***** Then Bxf3+, Nxf3, Qxb8 and Radjabov would have the advantage of two paws. Sure that was not mate as Luiz said... I think his comment was referred to the end position.
Carlsen's g4?! that started his attack was too ambitious. This aspect of his personality seems to be more of a strength than a weakness of course. However, it gets the better of him here.
Proud of Radjabov!
Azerbaijani chess team is very powerful, Radjabov is the proof of that!
I'm a big Carlsen-fan, but damn that was a beautiful mate
Proud of Radjabov From Azerbaijan😊
Woow it is best game👍 Radjabov is very clever and powerful player and Magnus too surely 😁
Is Radjabov is the only man in this world who "CHECKMATE MAGNUS CARLSEN' ?!
He didnt mate....knight blocks
man ...
+Isacc Newton Forgive him, he must barely play chess.
+Isacc Newton haha...true,forgive him
Azerbaijani chess team is very powerful
why Carlsen never win Radjabov?
9 wins, 2 losses, 18 draws in classical games.
@@Bardhylius 9 wins carlsen?
Awesome defensive play by Radjabov and precise counterattack.
perfect game !!
what a game Radjabov...........lol

these guys are the best
Teumor Radjabov and Chess
Super!
@bumblebee1607 You are the best. Also, we can see you filming from the other side in some of EugenePotemkin's vids!!
Anyone know where one can acquire the FEN or PGN of this game?
Wow... What a game by Radjabov
That is a DGT Electronic chess board. You can find them with a lot of retailers on the web.
@renumeratedfrog Why 14. Nh4?? I don't understand. Someone can explain me??
Great
Thanks Rondo710 but it seems as if that board is flat with beveled edges. I've seen no DGT board that has that look.
Where could one purchase a board like that. Help anyone! Thanks
good vdo sharp image with clock
Actually, the move is not permanent until you hit the clock.

@renumeratedfrog Awesome thanks!

what a shock to carlsen. like a beat
I thought the point of Qa1 was not to play Qa8, but Bh8. Would that not work?
This was war lol. One of the best games I've ever seen
Oh! Radjabov made a checkmate, which is difficult happening for the grandmaster with grandmaster
Que jogo meus amigos, que jogo!!
The more I watch these guys, the more I realize I'll never amount to shit at this game :0)
It s impossible to play f5 with the e4 pawn? are you sure?
wow, Magnus got mated...
who is the winner?
Thank you very much @bumblebee1607

My computer says that Bh8 is winning. That proves that Carlsen is human
Mr .Rodriguez Poor Magnus has only 2 seconds on his clock and he is embarrassed. No human can design a plan in such a short time.
What a mate...

@demiurg25 Maybe to play after "Qf3"...
@renumeratedfrog interesting position in: "47... Kbc4".
Teymur, "God mode"
Is it a three-minute game?
bravo radjabov !!
yeah thx bumble

@YtubeUserr even if Bh8, it's still checkmate when black does Qc1
No peice exchange after 4 min of play. Radjabov was really strategic avoiding carlsen style.
he was about to loose the queen with Qh2!.
finaly mate!. good game.
@BlackSN8K it was a clean win for Radja, misplacements of pieces in Blitz happen all the time by everybody. He won fair & square
it was a clear checkmate.
Did Carlsen forfeits on time?
WTF at 9:10 Radjabov change the direction of his quenn twice ?
@BlackSN8K Or, you know, it was because carlsen had 3 seconds on his clock, but yeah I agree it's pretty badmannered not fixing it himself, especially considering he was even up on time...
Radjabov is the best player of the world!
Seid Agalarov no
@@jordanpage3846 , yessss
f5 was already not allowed from the other pawn on e4...
As i was watching it, I was expecting Bh8 after Qa1 by Carlsen... but there came the shocking blunder Qa8??
What could be black's defense after Bh8. I don't see any good defensive moves other than Bg5+ for black.
the final position where black plays q-c1+ forces carlsen to play N-d3 and qxn is then mate.
He had 3 seconds to think and he spent them on his own mating attack. Qh8#
sti cazzi che bravo radjabov..
wow what a miss. that would've been huge

The only reason why Carlsen blundered was because of Radjabov's cheap trick of not properly placing his queen inside of the square, hence, made him confused... Plus, the psychological effect of "mistakenly" touching his queen was another great devious trick!!!
OMG Carlsen was mated! 😨
😂😂😁
Changed his mind about the move because of Nxh2. That would've been pretty embarrassing!
Actually in another chess video,"Magnus Carlsen vs Boris Savchenko", I believe Carlsen got disqualified because he released the piece, then moved it again, and lost after savchenko complained about it.

+ebrahim mehri Bxg5 white can play Kg3.
Bh8! instead of Qa8
In 2.
can u see that Radjabov move the queen to another square and suddenly change his decision????
Yeah, unless you do not release the chess piece, you can move the touched piece to every legal field you want to
@valg321 he won fair, but not quite in the square
@Tiller88 Take a better look, Magnus got mated himself. The only thing he can do is to put the knight in front of the king, which will be taken by the black queen anyway.
@aixelsyd82 Yep
Is magnus single ?
Bxe4+ after Rxb8 is winning on the spot
Did you really need the at sign. lol.
not allowing f5
@ 3:00 can't understand why Carlsen plays g4 so prematurely... his Bishops and Knights are passive, his queen asleep, his King has nowhere to run???
Anyone with a clue?
fantastic win for radja and just in time...i think in the next move Carlsen would have mated him
yeah but if you release a piece you have no choice but to hit the clock you can't go and move it back and move another piece instead so not releasing the piece is the important part.
At 6:56 black missed Be4: check
Indeed! That probably would be the end of story right at that check.
Luiz D'Orácio
no, he could have f2-f3, couldn't he? then radjabov would be at pawn advantage
***** Then Bxf3+, Nxf3, Qxb8 and Radjabov would have the advantage of two paws. Sure that was not mate as Luiz said... I think his comment was referred to the end position.
Emilson Pereira Leite
yeap, thats what i meant=)
Carlsen's g4?! that started his attack was too ambitious. This aspect of his personality seems to be more of a strength than a weakness of course. However, it gets the better of him here.
That's funny. The following move, if Carlsen wasn't in check mate, would have been checkmate for Radjabov.
Don't shake the camera like that! It's extremely disorientating.
Why the shape of the two white bishops is completely different than blacks?
@montebosss He is already number 1..... what makes your comment useless.
@renumeratedfrog i know i just left that for my gf to see cuz she's azerbaijani also and she hates it when i say shit like that
Nooo Carlsen lost! D: I meant to press dislike. Well, like for his efforts!
Magnus cárcel sólo perdió por tiempo
Cesar vidaurree is checkmate
+mark47109 Not checkmate yet but you know, close enough.
+Coleman Li Ne3 Qxe3 mate
mark47109 That's why i said close enough
9:06
1... Be3+ looks pretty good!
2. Nxe3 Qh2 or 2. Qxe3 Nxe3 and white cannot recapture because of Qh2# again
TEYMUR 🇦🇿
@BlackSN8K No, Carlsen lost because Radjabov was better and faster.
Ok i see. dont answer ;)
radjabov almost made a blunder lol....
