Where I think this film dropped the ball the most, was the lack of Optimus Screen Time. We should have gotten a lot more of Nemesis Prime and then a good chunk at the end

to those of you thinking "no they didn't forget who optimus is he's so scary on the battlefield he's in our campfire stories" and all that, i don't think he based that line on his name alone. He connected the quote with his identity, his reputation and the way his power strikes fear into deception hearts. So no i don't think they forgot who optimus was, they forgot the level of his skill and sheer power and brutality in the battlefield.
The action is really well filmed in this film. Most impressive finale out of the 5 movies.
Megatron started the war, but Quintessa created destruction and left cybertron nothing but chaos and a deserted wasteland and Optimus was all that stood til one hero saved Optimus from Quintessa’s mind control. BUMBLEBEE.
Swift Bumblebee shall always remain the real MVP. Although this film was a shit rush for a decent cash grab, since the first of the episodes, Bumblebee has stood for nothing but serenity and honour. He is a well written character in all forms, both motion picture and animated!

Before this particular moment of the transformers franchise, my favorite moment of Optimus was back in ROTF when he climbed on top of blackout (helicopter guy for those who forgot) and quite literally put two hooks to his head, and just pulled in opposite directions, completely skewering his head off from the socket

I said it once, i will say it again: i really think it should be Dragonstorm VS Infernocus. Both of them are combiners, and Dragonstorm was Quintessa's Guardian. When the Knights of Iacon betrayed her, Quintessa created Infernocus.
