I literally made one of these for the science fair in high school, got front page in the paper and did not even win first second or third place, the whole school was surrounded me and everything!!!
everything you see is pretty much everything you need. a hovercraft needs a strong surface (for the rider,) a skirt around the frame, and a way to push a lot of air under the body. the air pressure lifts the hovercraft to the height of the skirt, leaving everything hovering on a cushion of air

has anyone ever thought of a gyro to control the direction a little better?
