Rodman gets ejected, Jordan grabs 16 boards. This is why no one should underestimate what this guy was capable of when comparing him to Lebron in terms of assists, boards, etc. He just did what was needed of him to win.

Nobody wins on their own. Some people just take over the Finals and make it seem like they do everything by themselves. MJ was the most dominant Finals machine ever. They faced Magic? He averaged 11 assists per game? Then Portland and Clyde? Someone suggested that Clyde has an advantage on 3-point shooting, MJ comes out and shoots threes like crazy. Then Suns, the highest scoring, unstobbable team with home court advantage? MJ scores 40+ppg. He did whatever was needed, every time.

Such a gem footage. I wasn't old enough to understand and admire what the 96 bulls have achieved, watching this now makes you understand the complexity and the greatness that they have achieved. Truly the best team ever.

it was the absolute truth MJ never regained the top end of his handles his quickness, the ups/midair abilities. or the seemingly never-ending supply of energy he had displayed regularly before retiring to pursue baseball never came back not even in 1996 while going 72-10...what happened vs orlando in the 1995 postseason wasnt a fluke and it wasnt the result of a lack of conditioning...the league, the media and his marketing dept insisted his prime was from 1991-98 with a 2yr break in the middle, but that was never the truth-the Bulls prime was from 1991-98...MJs prime is from the playoffs of 1986 -1993, and Dennis Rodman absolutely should have been the 1996 NBA Finals MVP, but giving him that award at the time would have destroyed their BS narrative about MJ being back in his prime again...After having his ball-handling weakness exposed while losing to Orlando he changed the way he played for the rest of his career, posted up and relied on that fadeaway and the post moves that work in conjunction with it as well as the triangle offense to get his pts far more often than he ever had relied on either option to score b4 leaving for baseball...If you paid attention you could see he still had most of the def abilities at times, but he didnt have that same bottomless reservoir of energy on defense anymore...In the NBA all def awards are often given out undeservedly to the top stars once theyve earned reputations for such things, and MJ certainly got a few...Quite honestly on the 1996-98 Bulls MJ was probably the 4th best defensive player behind Pippen Rodman and Harper simply due to how much more often those players were given the task of defending the tougher assignments while MJ would be conserving his energy on def for offense by defending the weakest perimeter assignment & pacing himself to take over late during the 4th qtr...
MJs handles at his absolute physical peak way b4 baseball

Best Team Ever, if I remember correctly, they lost their last two games in the regular season by 1 point each, and against losing teams, they could have win 74 games, but they just lost a little bit of concentration down the road, and thats why they werent as impresive with their playoff record, which still was one of the best, but to lose twice to the Supersonics?, still it never felt like they weren´t in control o worried about this loses, and it made the finals more interesting.

They actually won the last game of the season against Washington, but yea the game before against the Pacers they should have had but they were tired and there were some bogus calls. There are a few other sthey wish they could have back - the Toronto loss by 1, the Charlotte loss by 1, and that Denver game where they almost won after getting blown out most of the game. They realistically could have won 75 and taken the record from nearly impossible to completely impossible to break.
