My father works in border roads organization (1997-present) (bro)..he was posted at leh in 2008....my whole family travelled by bus from Chandigarh via Manali sarchu to leh....we were 3 yrs there then again he transferred back to BRO headquarters (Delhi).....then again by road we travelled by two trucks...one is 407 halfway...then by 1613 tata truck all the way to Delhi with all our whole luggage at backside 😅...this time the route was via kargil Srinagar Punjab to Delhi 🔥...in 2011

There are two routes to reach Amarnathji. One thru Pehalgam.base camp.The other one is Baltal route. We went to Amarnathji in 1999 via Pehalgam and took Baltal route to Srinanagr. This Baltal route is very dangerous.
