I still can’t believe that Nightingale has not been in the shop since I started playing the game(Right after Ling’s banner ended). I have been really patient by not buying her from every 6 star selector since then because me being young and naive, unaware of the evils in this world, thought she will be in the shop “soon”. Holy shit, she’s still not in the shop. Admittedly, I think she was available in one of the previous kernal locating but I had to get eyja because I wasn’t able to buy her when she was previously in the shop. I thought to myself,” Eyja has already been in the shop before so that means that Nightingale will be in it soon, right… RiGtH??!?!”. Please Yostar, stop torturing me like this!
Same, i have been wanting her since the first time I played in December 2022, and still haven't gotten her :(
Nightingale supposed to be available in the previous Kernel-Locating. But Iostar decided to replace her with Suzuran (& they decided to always replace 1 operator with either Suzuran or Rosa untul now)
Nightingale, is available in CN current Kernel-Locating banner lineups. Where around Babel event, she has appeared as a Shop-Operator. Maybe in Global, she will be in Shop-Operator around 2-3 events after Babel

I wanted to try, so I chose Saria and Ch'en as 6 stars and Lappland and other 2 5 stars... after 4-5 pulls, I found a 6 stars: Mostima.
I'm impressed om how unlucky I am in this game
kernal locating is awesome, because you can put units in the shop with regularity to fix holes in your team.
if you don't have her, i'd recommend you pick up saria.
in one of the earllier blue kernels i ended up getting saria, from the cert shop, no regrets, really good healing and she also can slow down enemies+ make nearby enemies take 55% more arts damage (Mastery 3) with s3, which makes casters and any arts damage dealers benefit from this alot
Bought Lappland with blue certificates. Finally, I have my own. Back when I've started I chose Warfarin, and after was complaining about seaborns, explosive spiders etc. But now I can finally revenge them with my own Lappland.
I buy Rosa using yellow certificate because of her cute skin XD. She's also pretty good to deal with bosses and heavy enemy with her module. She's great. I love her =w=

To be more precise, Nightingale & Ceobe really be on the top MVP wanted characters for those doesnt have any of them, Nightgale still good even if you have or not Ejya-alter and Ceobe for both IS and CC as well, gotta look forward to them unless they spook you with random top op tag.

Yellow certs just take so much time to save up to 180. By the time I get there, I have to use it on a newer operator in the regular shop. It'll probably be years before I get Silverash lol
Lappland is definitely the best 5* pick; she holds her niche even amongst all 6* units. Spectre, Ptilopsis, Warfarin and Liskarm are all great 5* too.
I need Saria, but i will wait for Shu
I put Aak in the shop and Mostima on the banner. I pulled and got Mostima, so now I'm debating on whether to buy Aak or if I should save for Nightingale. I'm thinking I may be able to get both, but there's a few other shoperators in the next year that I'm after too.

I'm about 10 months into the game with quite a few E2 6*. I can clear the S stages using guides (for inspiration) and occasionally support units.
I prefer a hands-on approach: it's fun to watch my Typhon wreck everything with S2, but sometimes it feels like I'm cheating, so I usually prefer to engage with the mechanics for each stage. I'll make the exception for the toughest stages and IS though because they cost too much real life sanity to go easy on.
Notably I have Lin and enjoy using her, so I think she'll enjoy Aak buffs. I use Horn too.
Future shop operators of high priority to me: Blemi, Fiametta, Pozy, Dorothy. I can currently afford 1 blue shop op and 2 yellow shop ops. I won't be pulling much on any more banners until R6 collab.
I think the biggest risk is not having the certs for Fiametta/Blemi/Nightingale. Pozy and Dorothy can probably be bought using the certs from the R6 collab and Wisadel pulls.
Edit: Skadi and Blaze would be nice to have from the shop but they are low priority because I have other units to replace them.
@@xtranathor8143 okay before I started doing my usual "essay", I need to pointed out the appearance of the operators you're aiming at in CN server. Keep in mind, their Global appearence is usually late 2-4 banners than the original CN schedule

Now here are my own essays.
If you're looking for Aak just to buffs Lin, I don't think it's a really wise choice. Lin may be a really good operator, but compared her to other Melee Boss-Killer you can find, using Aak only for her is kinda... Underused him (considering there are not alot of stage that needs Lin burst attack). And the way you said you're using Horn implies you probably have a plan to use Aak to buff her (which not a bad move honestly, but her skills is ammo-based so...)
In other hand, Nightingale is much wiser choice even though her appearance is really long. Keep in mind we'd only get Nightingale in Kernel banners in June (after current Kernel-Locating). So she'll probably appeared as Shop-Operator in December *(yeah she appeared in 5th Anniversary Kernel-Locating, but there is a chance Yostar decided to replace her with Pallas/Carnelian)* . But waiting for her is much more worth it since what you're waiting are the best Medic with huge QoL improvement from Perfurmer/Ptilopsis.
Now, I understand why you'd choose Fiammetta & Pozyomka even though you already have Typhon. But here, Fiammetta is a laneholder that... Is really hard to find the good spot. She is basically Ifrit. Risking your yellow-certs for laneholder you don't really use often, & even if you can use it there are others choice... Is not my kind of thing. If she's not replacable, okay I consider it but she is quite replacable. Noticably, you need a good Medic to keep up with her HP loss, in a state of game where every range enemies deal a ton of damage.
Pozyomka is also my choice before, so I won't really question it. After all she deals a ton of damage while her usage is much more limited rather than Typhon large range.
But for Blemishine & Dorothy? Blemishine... I don't really find a good usage of her execpt you're a Kazmierz-Knights/ Defender-Knights/Sleep-Knights enjoyer. Her usage is very limited while you'd probably can use other better option than her. While Dorothy, yeah she is the best Trapmaster (we're not going to talk about Ela, she is a Sniper) in the game but even if you'd like hands-on approach her mines still won't do really much. The only usage I find of her in the past 6 months is on CC Pyrolysis. You guess it, she won't appeared at that time, even in the next 3 months.
Now, this is only my suggestion. Even so, I'm not you, I don't even know weather you have Mlynar, Surtr, or even enjoying using them. There is no single person who understands their Account needs more than themself. That's why I don't tell you who to buy. I just need you to re-consider.

@@helmifaiz4504 thank you very much for this detailed analysis. Objectively I can see that Nightingale and Pozy are my best choices. I also know that the best ops for my account would really be Mlynar, Thorns and Mountain, but honestly I'm prioritising the cute girls (accounting for what they add to the team as well). I have Surtr and can live with a Mlynar support if desperate. The only reason I'm considering Aak is to make the cute girls even stronger!
If I have to wait a long time to pick up Nightingale, that will reduce pressure on the yellow certificates in the near future.
I'll have to think a bit more, but I'll probably get Aak - I can use him more widely, but picked Lin and Horn as my most used ops that also benefit from Aak. Edit: plus, Aak with module is really cool for S1!
Got Angelina, she any good? I've reviewed her kit and, besides the weightless niche, can't find much general use for her when I have Suzuran for slow.
Her niche is her passive healing and weightless at e2. In terms of DPS Eyja is better, but Angelina was my first 5*

Nah, Angelina is not good. With how Suzuran does everything better than her. Suzuran slow is guaranteed, she heals, & debuffs enemies with Fragile, which the strongest debuff in the game
Angelina will only be useful, for her passive regen HP & weightless to push/pull big enemy to the holes such as how people use Weedy & Angelina to kill Izumik in IS4 ED4. Beside that, she has no really good use
Gonna buy Scharwz using gold certs but i need to wait for next standard banner to see if Mudrock gonna be in the shop.

I've decided to use these banners to work towards pot 6 Skadi and Specter. I already have Goldenglow, and the only characters I'm really saving for with certs are Irene and Ines, who will each take a while until they are available.

HELP Should I buy Saria from the shop or should I buy more pulls??? I have 85k orundum and hope to have enough for WAlter when she comes to global so I can spark Texas alter.
Okay lemme tell u something
First, Saria is available in the next Kernel-Locating banner on CNY (Shu banner) so if you somehow get Shu you can skip Saria, if not you still can buy her
Second, with 85k Orundum you can get 141 pulls, add 180+ more pulls you will get until Walter banner ( yes I calculate it ) you can spark 5th Anniversary banner
1.) NFzen should make a pull calculator for W alter.
2.) have you cleared the story/side story/intermezzi.
buying saria is spending 30 pulls for saria, basically (if you used that 180 for pulls its roughly equivalent to 30 pulls) 30 pulls for an operator thats going to help your team is great.
but you have 85K orundum (~150 pulls) and a desire to spend 300 pulls on W alter. which should be in early november. which is 168 days.

we will pass the Ela, Degenbrecher, ash rerun, reed rerun shu, and Ray banners. are we skipping these?
well lets do a pull calculation, assuming NO skins no monthly card, 24*3000= 72,000 from the weekly annihilation and doing your daily tasks. that puts us at 268 pulls. we would need to make up the additional pulls, well 11 on the first day free pulls.
yeah you actually will make 300 pulls if you SKIP everyone, and can buy saria now.
Do you want to skip degenbrecher, Ela, and shu? we talking a 30 pulls for a guarenteed saria vs a shot at Shu, Degenbrecher or ela.
but if you got the sidestories to clear, thats a WHOLE lot of OP to make this completely not tight.
but I'd buy saria so you are less tempted to spend pulls on shu at the very least.

saria is really good. all her skills have a good use and you can basically bring her on any stage. even with shu coming saria will remain a good op to have with her skill 3. thorns will maybe come in half a year. when year 2 ops get added.
Saria is still a really good Medic Defender just for her simplicity. Shu in other hand, only works for certain "niche" that Saria already good enough to do it. Beside, Shu is a limited operator, that her kit moreover to buffing & HP regen (not heals like Saria). So still, Saria is future proof even with the addition of broken Shu
In other hand, Thorns appeared as a shop-operators in CN's current Kernel-Locating banner. Along with few other Year-2 operators. His appearnce before that is not as a Shop-Operator

if you are a newbie, then the guardian defender is the best archetype in the game. they have 3 block, are tankier than any guard archetype, have a rather low dp cost and their heals are not a gimmick, but genuinely strong heals outperforming medics without active skills
Best banner to make would be in my opinion:
6 Stars: Saria + Aak
5 Stars: Lappland, Specter, Warfarin/Ptilopsis
Honestly? Don’t need specter. Already got them and I already have Blaze… Plus I don’t use the abyssal hunters…

Picked and then bought Manticore with yellow certs, mad that SilverAsh wasn't an option though, one of the few OG's I still don't have.
He should be not too far away from being in shop since I've heard they'll do a full rotation before kernel gets updated with the ops up to Passenger in a few months.

I only have about half the 5/6 Stars, none of my selected ones. I set up Rosa and Schwarz, and Lappland, Spectre and Liskarm. I now have a Executer Pot 1
instead of a 10 pull i just roll singles until i get the first rate up from the guarenteed 5* and buy the shop operator i want if i didnt get her already. i got provence today after 3 pulls and i only miss sora and platinum now. its a good way to fill up some of the 5*'s without spending too much pulls.
@@tribin82 Yeah, i do that as well, got Executor on 6 or 7. I only do Kernel if I can select the operator, Otherwise I save for Normal headhunting. That keeps the originium relatively constant, and Events push it up. Does not allow for the 200 Pull Guarantee sone people save for

Can you even save for 200Pull f2p? I think it'd take over a year counting everything so you can't even plan that for future operator if you play EN.
Unless you mean irl money saving by buying only cost-effective packs, you can probably get couple hundred a year then, yeah.
@@tteqhu Yeah you can. At 1800 a week for annihilation ,500 for weekly missions and 7 times 100 for daily stuff you get 156000. Add 3 pulls every 2/3 weeks for events, 200 a few times a year for maintenance compensation, and the thousands with the big events.
The yearly total might even be enough for 1 Spark if you really really want something.
This 'can' is not the way I play, cause where is the fun in only getting 1/2 of the really busted Operators and whatever is in that pool.

If ur looking for typical guardian defender Bassline is pretty good, but I get it Saria does a lot more than just guardian.
I mean shu is coming....
NGL, GG is far more useful. Gummy is more than enough for most missions

This Kernell Banner have a quite bad lineups. Only Saria is worth it now

Aak only for buffer & debuffer Army enjoyer
Mostima only for Caster-Knights & Schwing-Knights (also CC)
Schwarz is not that good with the addition of Pozyomka, Typhon, & Ray in the future (same with Rosa)
Ch'en is not that good especially with Mlynar & Surtr
The rest are meh.... (keep in mind, this is a very short review. Also, in 5th Anniversary Kernel-Locating. The lineups expands to year-2 operators)
What are year two operators?
@@shiningnightmare5616 includes surtr mudrock, passenger, kaltsit, saga, thorns, mountain, weedy, a bunch of good stuff actually. but same goes for year one if you ask me. they arent really all that much worse than a lot of newer 6 stars.

Yeah, I disagree with people discouraging others from pulling on kernel.
I don't think I'll make best arguments for operators as I'm on newer player side, but watching some high risk clears, I'd say Suzuran, Mostima, Eyjafjalla, Ceobe are all operators that can perform in niches.
Especially if you plan to pull a lot in the future, you're likely to get standard pool operators randomly, while year1 (soon year2) will be locked from you.
They should lower Orundum cost though, to be closer to yellow cert shop.
if the cost in yellow cert wouldn't be significantly lower I would probably agree kernel is not worth pulling.
But when it's reduced cost for often as good ops that you can often pick rate up yourself?
If your budget/planning to spark is not very tight, I think you should consider kernel, if you miss some year 1 operators?

Rosa - Big damage on Heavies +stall+Alot of general range
Shwartz - Bigger general damage + Tight(With S3)/Small range
Mostima - Arts AoE damage+Consistent Slow+Stall+Small to Massive range(with S3)
