That Adesanya vs Gastelum fight might honestly be the greatest middleweight fight of all time. Takes two to tango - Gastelum still doesn't get enough credit for that performance.

Dude i'm an Izzy fan and most times i see people who love Izzy saying that Gastelum was a warrior. Which he was. Incredible chin, amazing cardio, super solid fundamentals and someone who's striking was largely written off before the fight, who took Izzy to 5 rounds.
I genuinely like Gastelum and it's sad that he's struggled somewhat since to return to those same heights in the middleweight division.
Gastelum is a warrior and will forever have my respect as a fighter.
That fight would probably have been quick and easy if it had taken place in Auckland, New Zealand. Remember Kevin Gastulum had 320 million people on his side and the spectators shouting their support and his name every second throughout the fight, yet he was dropped 3 times in the last round!
Was all on the tank that who ever ran out of gas 1st lost. They were both destroyed man what a fight. I do and i dont like seeing fights like that because it can change a fighters life been in a war like that

I am so incredibly honored to have started watching back in 2009, when I was 10 years old.
This sport has grown so much in 12 years, it’s quite unbelievable. Thinking of all the nostalgia from watching fights like Rampage/Rashad, Jones/Rua, Machida/Rampage, so many. I can even remember Rashad Evans having a great performance against Phil Davis because I watched it live. There’s so many moments throughout the last decade that stick in my mind.
I can’t pick a single one out as my favorite, I’ve just seen and been in awe of too much. But the moment I’ll go with right now is watching Anderson break his leg live. I thought for sure he would come out more serious, not hesitant, and pick Weidman apart for 3-4 rounds. Then in the 2nd round his leg snapped, and I’ve never been so speechless after watching anything.
The best moment in recent memory is Rose winning back her title from Weili. I love them both as fighters and it was my most anticipated fight of the year by a long shot. I wanted Rose to win simply because she’s my GOAT. When I say I was fucking screaming, I mean I was mouth wide open screaming. I’m getting fucking emotional just typing this lmfao. When she got on that mic and said “I AM THE BEST!!” I actually cried for the first time while watching a Post Fight.
This sport is beautiful. My life with it has been beautiful. Not just watching, but also participating and training in it. Thanks guys

Every time I see holly’s reaction to head kicking ronda it makes me tear up a bit. Because she knew she could do it, everyone thought she would get stomped by ronda but she knew she could win. And she did and almost couldn’t control the emotion. The moment of triumph.

MMA in Australia and New Zealand has come a long way in the last 10 years. They had a late start. Fighters like Mark Hunt, Elvis Sinosic, Kyle Noke, and George Sotiropolis were pioneers that paved the way to the new generation we see today.

What people need to realize about Izzy when they call him skinny is that he’s 100% lean muscle so he’s still strong and the fact that he’s not bulked up make his extremely fast and accurate so he may not me the strongest but he’ll find your chin and hit it hard
