Feeling the 20 anniversary of this masterpiece
This was one of the remixes on the original single release back in 98. I remember the first time I heard Frozen on the radio, it stopped me in my tracks and I was amazed to find it was by Madonna! I'd always dismissed her as light-weight kitsch pop before then, but this song had something deeper, more powerful and elegant than her previous records. Ray Of Light became one of my favorite albums of the era (and still is). I think motherhood did something profound to her soul, she and the producers conveyed that successfully onto the record.
