This song reminds me of a situation that a school friend and football teammate went through back in the 80s. His wife another school friend died of cancer in 1987. He was so lost it was sad watching him. In fact, he was put on a suicide watch for almost a year. In 1993 his current wife came into his life. The words of this song reflect this guy and his life during their first few months together. His 2nd wife gave him 3 beautiful daughters. He truly loved his first wife and from time to time before I left Georgia we would walk around in the Cemetary where she is buried. Neither of us could ever leave that place with dry eyes. Unless you have been through the loss of a soulmate you have no idea how hard it is for someone to get past this loss. He still loves her and most likely always will. If I may at the risk of being verbose I would love to tell a story about a dream he had. About 6 months before he re-married he and I along with some friends were discussing some things when I saw a sadness come over him. He asked me how do you think "Annie" would think about this girl. A few nights later he awoke. He could smell "Annie's favorite perfume. She was standing next to his bed, wished him a happy life and marriage. I know it was a dream. However there are times when I wonder, was it?

This song reminds me of a situation that a school friend and football teammate went through back in the 80s. His wife another school friend died of cancer in 1987. He was so lost it was sad watching him. In fact, he was put on a suicide watch for almost a year. In 1993 his current wife came into his life. The words of this song reflect this guy and his life during their first few months together. His 2nd wife gave him 3 beautiful daughters. He truly loved his first wife and from time to time before I left Georgia we would walk around in the Cemetary where she is buried. Neither of us could ever leave that place with dry eyes. Unless you have been through the loss of a soulmate you have no idea how hard it is for someone to get past this loss. He still loves her and most likely always will. If I may at the risk of being verbose I would love to tell a story about a dream he had. About 6 months before he re-married he and I along with some friends were discussing some things when I saw a sadness come over him. He asked me how do you think "Annie" would think about this girl. A few nights later he awoke. He could smell "Annie's favorite perfume. She was standing next to his bed, wished him a happy life and marriage. I know it was a dream. However there are times when I wonder, was it?

But I can't believe, that I picked all the groups that blew up. I've picked Michael jackson, cause of the cover, with the lion. But thriller was the reason why people started to buy it. Plus the hits was on record albums and tapes. Didn't have CD's in the 80's. Plus beta max was going out, as VHS movie tapes took over. But what beta max is a small wheel film tape that was put in a bigger case, that you owned so you can play your beta max tapes. 😉
