It can be you done without removing the instrument cluster. You just need a stronger magnet

Thank you, I’ve been trying to find videos and you show exactly what I need to do, everyone keeps telling me to use a magnet, 2006 maxima lol like 4 inches of air space I’ll need a baseball sized magnet 😂😂

The magnet gets used on the back, so you don't have to take apart the cluster (or even disconnect the harness)
