That's a shame. You can't monetize this video because of the images or because of the music?
@@alejandrobasaldua5930 both 😂
Hi! I know it doesn’t have anything to do with this particular video, but I’ve seen your videos and I must say they are really good! So I was wondering if you could do a video of the beauty of Anne with an E cause it’s a masterpiece of a series and has some pretty astonishing takes! Hope you see this and have a wonderful day!🥰💖
_I never understood why Full Metal Jacket wasn't even nominated for the Oscars as cinematography. Nor as director or sound effects editing._
because the oscars are bullshit thats why
This movie see us the facts. I think Usa did not like it.
@@burakyagzdalgc5350 apocalypse now ?
2 oscars wins
they fcking nailed the look of 60s Saigon
@@hoppinggnomethe4154 Right?! Amazing that Kubrick shot the whole film in England. They imported palm trees from Spain.
A horrifying, yet beautiful film
Couldn't have said it better.
I'm not a fan of war genre, but "Full Metal Jacket" changed my mind
Ironically, the film is very anti-war.
Watch _Come & See_
I'd suggest Jarhead if you like FMJ
Try apocalypse now
Alp Guler more like watch apocalypse now now
happy birthday, stanley kubrick.
Thank you
thanks
Mr Kubrick will forever live with us, happy birthday to one if the greatest.
Holy crap I just realized something.
I think the film could be commenting on how the military punishes the childlike, like how Sergeant Pyle was chewed up and spat out by the system and it drove him to the point of suicide. But at the end of the film, they all sing the Mickey Mouse song. It’s a system that actively attempts to weed out the scared little children but yet enables those who made it through by showing them how they never have to grow up.
The duality of man.
Guessing you haven't been to war or seen death
This one remains as masterpiece by stanley kubrick. One of my favorite film of his brilliant works. Excellent and well-crafted

Very underrated film. I liked how halfway everything changed. Recommend it!
I think the movie is far from being underrated...
This movie definitely not underrated, it deserves all the praise though
underrated? WTF this is one of the most aclamated film ever xddd
You can't just slap the word underrated when you think a movie isn't as appreciated as you believe it to be. Does FMJ deserve its praise? Yes. Certainly not an underrated film by any means. Maybe when it first came out, but not anymore.
FormulaVase3806 I agree. I really do think that not enough people are appreciating this
Kubrick was a master of framing
Happy birthday Stanley Kubrick! His influence and inspiration will never be forgotten!
Arguably the most influential filmmaker of all time
One of the most influential for sure
I’ve always seen this as such a great character study film for Joker
Happy Birthday Stanley!
I memorised all of R. Lee Ermey's lines for this movie for over a year now. I never laughed so hard at his performance. I also love the influences it carried over the years. Sarge from the Toy Story movies (1995-2010), The Frigheners (1996), various commericals, and voice work.
Last line in Toy Story 3: "It has been an honor serving with you. Good luck, folks."
Me: 😢 Sir, it has indeed been an honor, sir. 🫡
RIP R. Lee Ermey 🌹
Jesus Christ, this is just beautiful!
And I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to chose the right scene, but this is perfect!
Every movie created by Kubrick is the greatest in his genre...even one of his early movies “The Killing” is pure gold
Stanley Kubrick had an iq of 200 which means he was the Issac Newton of film making . He's my fav director and an era defining genius .
The amazing Stanley Stew FMJ Crew.
This is the first Kubrick film i watched, which is why it will always be special for me even though I don't think it's his best
The beauty of paths of glory
The wonderful Matthew and Stanley i had a amazing time on this film through pure luck, right place right time and knowing someone. Stew FMJ Crew.
Amazing work! Great music choice!
Stanley Kubrick is my favorite director because his direction is always beautiful and each film is different and original and he has made only masterpieces. He is the most important director in history.
Great gift to the greatest on his Birthday ❤
YES! I’ve been waiting for this one. Such a beautiful film. Thank you!
Happy Kubrick Day ❤ Legends never die
One of the best war movies!
Happy birth day to stanly kubrick 💛
One of Stanley Kubrick's best
Beauty of Platoon would be great. Full metal jacket is up there, but Platoon is my favorite war movie. Awesome video once again!
I think I like Full Metal Jacket a little bit more than Apocalypse Now.
Agreed. What I like about FMJ more is that doesn't try to hit you over the head with the "war is hell" message quite as hard as Apocalypse Now. FMJ kinda just shows war as it is and I like that.
@@ballo3595 I think a war movie with constant shock value like both armies being savages and brutally executing each other or being cruel in general would show the "war is hell" message and actually do something with it. But maybe that'd Just be edgy and people would say " but in real life we have the Geneva convention" and then I'd just look like a dumbass
I prefer Apocalypse
Apocalypse now depicts the horror of war. It's more psychological
Nah Apocalypse now is far better
The ending of this film definitely makes it feel even after all they’ve been through, the worst is *yet* to come.
Best CZcams's Channel
I've been waiting for this from you for so long!!
I feel very pleased to share my birthday with Stanley, my greatest idol
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOSS!
Happy birthday, Mr.Kubrick, you will always be the master of cinema.
beauty of requiem for a dream!!
Beauty of Looper!
I think Leonard is a great example of what the Marine Corps instills in its Marines, “killers” not negatively but a weapon that’s effective in combat, Leonard being defective in a way where that killer has taken control. He represents what is now planted in every Marine but he cannot control what has been taught and beaten into him. In the end of this movie Joker shows what Leonard shows him in the beginning that they were trained to kill
This film is based on the book "The Short-Timers". The moral of the book was that the Marine Corps makes a man a beast in the worst sense of the word. The corps breaks a man, destroys everything good that could have been in him, leaving a ruthless bastard in his place. And then, after the war, this ruthless bastard is thrown out into his native home. The original, it is worth noting, is much more cruel. There are also football games with the severed head of a Vietnamese, and an officer who wants to send the head of a Vietnamese to his wife as a souvenir, and mass killings of civilians. I just advise you to read the original, then a lot becomes clear. Alas, Kubrick reworked the plot quite a lot, which is why the original story remained unsolved.
@@user-ec6dk7et5sthanks for the tip, I’ll have to look into it, the culture of Marines is wild and something I can say is almost not comparable to the Army or other branches, reading the With the Old Breed and Helmet for my pillow just shows how Marines are treated like the bastard children of the military and bastard children will cause the most damage to their enemy
@@user-ec6dk7et5scome to find out the book is no longer printed and copies are at least 100 and up just for paper back
Happy Birthday Kubrick
Oh my, thank you sooooooo much for this, I will wait for The Beauty Of Fury, another wonderfull war movie, thank you for all the reflexion Stanley, forever in our hearts ❤️
Underrated channel. Keep it up! :)
wow I've seen this movie so many times but I never really noticed those long wide shots.
Stanley kubrick
another good video and STONES.... best vietnam era music “paint it plack”.
That last edit was very effective and inspiring. Thanks for the vid
This movie was one of the first war movies I watched years back and still I don't think anything else I've seen has topped it.
the cuts in all these videos are too perfect
0:06 O-oh my dear. Poor kid.
Probably the best anti-war, war movie I’ve seen. Well done 👌 on a second note, I was wondering if you ever considered doing the Beauty of the Before Trilogy? I’ve just revisited it yesterday and I would state that it’s best trilogy when it comes to relationships, from both a romanticized and realist perspective.
This film will never get old and it's an absolute masterpiece I bloody love it.
beautiful
Great video! I was just learning to play this song on piano and then I hear it in the video😂
Lots of amazing shots here.. good video
Great song choice
Gracias a ti vi esta película porque colgaste este vídeo de las mejores películas jamás echas del cine bélico una obra de arte

Oh yesss! TBH I'm a bit surprised to discover you didn't make it until now. What a great movie
This film reflexes perfectly my military life into the Argentine Air Force, even my companions and corporals resemble enormously the film characters

I always expected this beautiful video
I love this movie and this channel❤️
great vid as always. suggestion: The Beauty of Come and See
Great video but you forgot to include a beautiful shot of private pyle baby walk with the soliders. 😂
When the drill instructors did our first tornado, i whispered to my bunk mate, "They didn't do this in Full Metal Jacket..."
Incredible film all a round with a brilliant ending.
Can’t believe this was filmed in England
That final scene man......so haunting
Some video ideas:
Beauty of Man of Steel
Beauty of Whiplash
Beauty of Westworld
I second that.
Man of steel is an ugly fucking film though.
Kubrick 💯💯💯💯
I saw this film yesterday, thankz❤️🔥 🇧🇷
you did really good with this one
not his finest war film, obviously it's path of glory but the first 45 minutes of this movie is the single most weird cinematic experience i ever had in my life.
Happy Birthday Stanley Kubrick
Another beauty of FMJ is those wonderfully written insults in the first half
Expected this song

Listen here, Be cool... Turn up the volume... And let your eyes wander through the image.
Yes Sir Yes
I like industrial-scapes...especially at night, abandoned industrial-scapes have their own particular vibe.
Great video and superb movie!
Please consider "Aguirre, the Wrath of God", "The Conformist" and, of course, "Chungking Express"
