As someone in love with Taichi you have no idea how hyped I was to see Ouya's fight so smoothly animated. They did a great job staying true to the flavor. Taichi so underrated.

Fun fact: the director Huang Chengxi is the Chinese guy that was hired to Japan to help create that fight scene in Boruto, and Hitori no Shita is a Chinese anime, Yi Ren Zhi Xia to be the original name
OOOhhhhhhhh, okay. I looked up Hitori and only found 2 seasons and, in the video, it says there's a season 3. Then I stumbled upon the fact that there IS a 3rd season, but didn't know why it wasn't like.. Easily found? Knowing it's Chinese instead of Japanese helps out a lot and fills in the holes that I couldn't, aha.

Some martial arts is built on power. Or fluency. Thai gains power from it's fluency. Master in Thai it's like a chain that grows longer and larger. The bigger it get some assume it loses fluency. But you see if you take a chain of a necklace and compared to Ant it seems large and clunky. But to a Master no matter how large it gets. It's no different than the little chain.

@@bitterthansalt5083 Yes seriously season 2 was. Well. I mean sure it was still better than majority of the shounen anime during its release but compared to season 1, it was complete garbage. Season 1 is way up there as one of the best anime ever, and I was so excited for season 2. But when it came out, damn my disappointment was just beyond immeasurable.

I just want to say thank you for putting Baki in this list. Hanayama vs Speck was one of the craziest fights of the arc. The most impactful fight will be Yujiro vs Baki once it gets animated no doubt.

The show is good but the manga is much better, the artist is very talented at depicting movement and impact. Also you miss out on a few story lines and information if you only watch the anime
Yeah same I watched it after I finished Baki 2018 and I really disliked the animation at first but the anime is so good that I binged the first season in one night :D
It was awesome. I actually prefer the fighting animation for Kengan compared to Baki 2018. Baki 2018 has great animation too, but I preferred being able to see the fluid motion of all the fights, compared to the quick, slow mo, cut shot of Baki.

Gintama fights actually have great animation, in my opinion the best animates fights are - Katsura and gintoki vs harusame (the movie) gintoki vs That big creepy hand sword dude in the first arc, gintoki vs jiroho, utsuro first appearance, gintoki vs Takadugii, everything vs utsuro and maybe more that I missed, overall great animation for a show with 300+ episodes

As a Chinese that grew up watching anime, Hitori no Shita represents the rise of Chinese animation beyond what we have ever imagined. For how matured the Japanese animations were, it took so much more for Chinese comics to be animated for its likeligood of unsuccess

I have to say The best fight with such a great flow is that one fight in Kengan Ashura between Naoya Ohkubo vs Agito Kanoh. The ground fight with grapples and and strikes just soo realistic, like I watch some real MMA/UFC fights. You should watch that

I love how at 10:29 he talks about how it delivered in accuracy to real martial arts RIGHT before the guy launches a dude into the air with his finger tip.
I'm no expert in martial arts, but from that sequence, I think what was shown was the dude pressing a pressure point on the wrist (which actually hurts if it's pressed hard enough). So, I don't think he launched the other guy...But the other guy just backed off?

In reality tai chi sadly requires too much specificity and prediction and doesnt really work. You cant just expect someone to walk into a move the exact way you prepped for it. This case is much the same for most martial arts, although a few do a very good job of prepping people for actual fighting. That being said, tai chi here is very accurate to the ideal of what it would be in an ideal scenario such as a form, and it looks very good.
Most martial arts are just "art". It's not meant to be used for combat. There are rumors of some Masters of some of these styles creating their own style meant for combat, but none of them have ever proven the existence of them so they remain rumors.
though the term "martial arts" refers to any hand to hand combat technique.

There are a few points for bad reputation of Martial arts.
1. There are Fake Masters, who got not questioned by their students. They could teach them the sun is cold and they would believe it. Some because they make money with their "wodoo" and some because they believe in their own nonsense and never tested it. BUT, you can't call those guys truely martial artists with a sense for reality.
2. There are different people of Martial Arts, Martial sports who try to talk down each other to look better themself, it's a money thing, a proud thing and so on.
3. people who truly going for martial arts to fight for real, who use it for self defense. Know exactly they shouldn't indicate with it to get famous, so the most of them try to stay unknown, only if you wanna make buisness with it or wanna teach you are trying to get famous. Bruce Lee tried to teach + to learn so he provoke litterly completly every fighter in the world, in case he would be better he offered him to teach him, in case of a lose he requested to get teached. Simply because he wanted to complete his style.
But after i did read your small-brain-comments i don't think you will understand anything anyways... you don't even know the reason of the existence of Martial Arts and you talk so much bullshit. It's like a kid is saying if you wanna make a car moving, you gotta step at the care brake to become faster. Exactly that's what you guys just did...holy shit i can't believe that i read so much stupidity in such a short sentence.... it hurts worse than any punch.
