Editor's Note: The Evelo Compass is equipped with cadence sensing pedal assist that feels remarkably like a torque sensor in all the ways that count. :)
26X4 fat tires this trike would be extra special awesome. Awesome review.
Brent, you always do a great review!
I'm not sure what that transition was in the intro, but gosh darn it was tight!! Fading to black, maybe film negative? loved it!
ha! yes, and we have our incredible team to thank for it :)
hope you're well and having a great day!
Only Brent could make riding a trike look cool. Brent McCool is da man!
hey Pedro! thanks for the kind words, my friend. i hope you're having a great day and staying cool!
How wide is this trike? Will the rear wheels pass into my standard front door? Also, what brand is the bike helmet your spokesman is wearing?
Can you add a handlebar suspension? This is definitely a delivery workhorse if given suspension on handlebars & seatpost.
hi Hullio! i actually have never tried a handlebar suspension. do you have one you recommend?
How much weight can the special frame handle? I'm 6'7" and around 300 pounds
I just ordered one myself I'm 6'6 275. After talking to evelo the 350 weight limit they have is fairly conservative. I was told it will handle 400 pounds with ease. They offer a taller seat post for rider ofnour height. Give em a call they are really helpful people. I spoke to Eric over at evelo he was very pleasant to deal with.
I really wish Evelo would make an economy model 😕
two Evelo reviews in a row. talk to me, Goose. what do you see?
Hydraulic brakes would be great, but then you would lose the parking brake, which is super handy on a trike
hi David! great point! yes, and the parking brakes are super useful, especially when you're stopped on anything but perfectly level ground.
the new Lectric trikes appear to have hydraulic brakes with parking brakes
As i get older, hopefully not within the next 15 years, but i can see myself owning a Trike. Yes i said it. This is how i would have it setup as well. Nice ride.
have you not ridden a trike yet??!? don't knock it till you try it, HackHunter. :) it's one of those things that will totally surprise you. so comfy, so chill. put a cooler, blanket and basket of food in the back and make like yogi the bear and go have a picnic.
@@electrifiedreviews Ha ha! Yogi the bear and picnics never came to mind, but hay, why not. When i pass the Trike owners on the trails, i say to myself, thats me in 10 years. Once at a trail head, the guy said he loved it, and no more saddle soreness.
@@electrifiedreviews I have yet to ride a trike. ADDMOTOR seems to have a few models that look bad azz. They look huge.
All that money and no hydraulic brakes or suspension in the rear or front? This ebike company is making a killing. I have an aerial Rider x class 52 volt with a 35 amp controller. That thing can hit 35 mph, and has a range of 80 miles and I only paid half of what this bike cost.
what's good, RichRock! sounds like the Aerial Rider is the perfect e-bike for you. how many miles have you put on it so far?
