I learned a tone from this. A lot of similar gear and set up that I work with, but River Run uses it in a really creative way. Taking some of these awesome ideas back to my team. Love it!
this was great - MORE of this! LOVE looking at the big church tech tours, but some of those are so far ahead of where we're at, we can't even see the tail lights from here 🤣
This is a great video! I feel like there's a million tech tours on youtube but the ones that are the most valuable show the churches that are being creative and using things beyond their default capacity.
We used that very hazer in our church that seats 1600! love it for the money! It really is dependent on air flow. during the summer we re did our AC (it was 20+ years old) and we saw a huge improvement on the air flow.
Good to see a very creative "budget sensitive" approach. It would be great to hear their perspective when you see something that Chruchfront has not encouraged/recommended. For example they use software based encoding (ProPresenter) vs hardware (Resi, Boxcast, Aja Helo). Not a you are wrong moment just so we can all learn from one another.
Great video. Always be thankful with what you have, and the result you get out of it. It would be great to make some instructional videos on how to install, manage and use these gear.
I have a suggestion for a next video: It will be great to see a comparison of the streaming quality using OBS, Resi, Boxcast, vMix, ATEM Mini pro, Blackmagic Web Presenter, Teradek Vidiu X... None did something similar.
We have a Mac Studio at Bay West (right down the road from you) and it works outstanding. We run all our foyer stuff, use it for environmental projection, all the confidence monitors and streaming as well through ProPresenter which takes care of our lights as well. ZERO complaints. PLEASE do that video on how to fix PTZ Optics cameras...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Keep rolling this type of content....
Really clever solution with his stage displays. I'd love it if ProPresenter gave the option to add chords to the stage display without multitracks or jumping through hoops with notes on the stage display. Like if you could assign a chord to a character in the lyrics like 1sus, and then change the key from week to week. so that if you're in C that 1sus would become a Csus. Not going to hold my breath though, Renewed Vision hasn't even added folders for macros...
Great video, perfect solution to add the plexi for the IR touch screen, we actually have been using a 43" display with IR touch for Pro P for almost a year. One question, when using the display for Waves, I have concerns with the resolution of our display. What is the resolution of their display?

Tell me more about this IAC device setup! haha. We have the same propresenter restart issue if we have to restart playback. I'd love to know more about how you guys set this up.
Hi guys, thank you so much for your videos… I’m Cristian from Italy 🤌🏻😁 I didn’t understand how they send audio from logic to streaming through soundgrid. We have a soundgrid server. From a behringer x32 with a waves card we go to logic on Mac (at the moment we go back to the x32 and then through XLR we go to an interface usb connected on a windows computer for the streaming) But I would like to know if there Is a solution to go digitally through soundgrid.. Thank you so much
Do you have any examples of a traditional looking church? We are at the beginning of our journey but we have 7 stained glasses windows so light is coming in! I would love to see how they deal with the lighting. Thanks.
So…he talks about his Playback Rig and shows dragging a ChartBuilder window over to the floor monitor but doesn’t show how. Is this a feature still in Beta? We run playback for Mac every week. I am not familiar with this feature in Playback for Mac. Anyone have an idea?
It’s ChartBuilder running on the same mac. When you search the App Store you’ve got to enable apps for iPad but the caveat is that it has to be an apple silicon Mac.
Hi! Great video! Quick question, I’m having an issue with the propresenter/multitracks lyric and chord integration. Basically I’ve found that with the MT master arrangement in propresenter the “next” slide may be wrong if the song goes out of the master arrangement. Wrong until the next midi cue is hit and then it goes to the correct slide, but then it’s too late for those watching the stage monitor. I’ve tried making custom “correct” arrangements in PP but playback only triggers sections from the master arrangement. That was probably confusing, but I’m just trying to iron out this issue.
So if I understand your question then there's no real easy solution for what you're asking. The only thing would be to use the "Full Song" arrangement or make your own on pro 7 and then create your own midi notes in playback to change the slides. I'd recommend looking into their chartbuilder integration instead of this for most of your team though. Chartbuilder with Rehearsalmix is a game changer when it comes to resources for your worship team.
The solution is to change the multitracks MIDI cues to be sequential and use the "Full Song" arrangement. So 1 through 70 or however many there are. The cues will trigger at the correct time and you will have the correct next slide every time. Sometimes you will have to delete an extra section in the arrangement, usually and extra intro or instrumental so just run through the song with the cues and you'll be able to figure out which sections need deleted if any.
@@mattwoltjer4376 It's not officially endorsed by Multitracks but it works. I tried and it worked so now I do it for every song. It's a little tedious but well worth the effort. I put in a feature request to have optional sequential cues but they were not receptive to the idea.
@@mattwoltjer4376 yep that was it!!! Thanks!!! It was a bit confusing cause it said it couldn’t be checked for malware cause it was too old for the Mac but in the security section I was able to override it!!!

The LV1 system sounds light years better and even as “janky” as it is is FAR less glitchy than the presonus 64s. I’ve used both extensively. Trust me, they’re not in the same league.
@@mattwoltjer4376 Waves is good but needs a mixer. We currently use Midas Pro 9 with Waves Soundgrid for live plugins and it's great but if I had to choose between using a dedicated board I would chooses that everytime. With today's technology there is nothing that sounds bad.
@@marsel108 I agree that everything sounds good but there are definitely levels to the sound. Otherwise you wouldn’t be using waves plugins right? But what I also was dealing with with the presonus is things like freezing, glitching, crashing, etc. I understand there are purists out there that want a dedicated console so to each their own but trust me when I say this system has been 100 times more solid and reliable than the presonus. A midas pro9 wasn’t really in my budget, so this was a way to get into the same level sonically while staying way more affordable. Also it’s the most scalable option out there.
@@mattwoltjer4376 It already sounds good without the plugins but I use waves plugins because I am bored and want something different.
