So basically Phone 2a is a bunch of stickers with three LED glyphs where there used to be many as their trademark.
I mean its a good phone, with a well build that survives drops as well. I don't mind stickers or overlays, it looks good but I don't like hidden screws since it can be annoying for repairs, especially for people who aren't used to doing repairs and end up damaging parts pulling on them not knowing there is a screw holding it down.
Others are not doing that also😮😅full plain they will put
It's great to see Nothing using Lithium-ion battery even on such a budget phone. Hats off to Nothing Team for their care towards consumers.

Oh, one more important thing, make sure to first use something like a razor blade to create a slit in the plastic card, then insert the card. It's impossible to insert the card without creating a slit first, but once it's in, it works really well.🙂
Do you think that plastic back is well sealed and will not peel off from regular wear over 2 years?

@@mohsinsaeed1148 I don't know much about the quality of BYD batteries for smartphone batteries, but they make excellent batteries for their electric cars, my father owns one and I was impressed because I didn't know they made other types of battery too, I believe they are good quality batteries =)
@@mohsinsaeed1148 BYD is a reputable car manufacturer and they manufacture their EV's batteries in house, so the fact that they're manufacturing the Nothing phone's battery speaks quality. At least that's what @gideaow meant.
It's like saying that Samsung provided the screen and Sony provided the Camera.

Many parts of this phone have QR codes and data matrixes printed on them. Nothing could have been thinking about a self-repair programme like the Framework laptop.

One request. I have laminated the phone back wirh glossy paper. Is it successful because when i am applying transperant back cover there is a bubble at phone back. Or i shoud change it wirh mat lamination

If the bubbles are not too big, don't worry about it, they disappear when phone gets heated with the use

Could you just disconnect the battery (5:25), take off the small panel at the bottom, pull off the cable above the battery and replace the battery? Essentially skipping all the steps after 5:25
Yes, you just need to remove what is needed for replacing the battery. The extra steps for the other parts is not necessary.

It seems that Nothing 2A doesn't actually have an aluminum frame, despite what other prominent tech reviewers have claimed.
It uses a mix of aluminum and plastic, basically an aluminum mid frame coated with plastic borders but the plastic is a durable and strong one compared to most phones I've seen. Almost feels as if its not plastic and just painted aluminum.
I looked up for all the companies for parts and dam nearly 90% parts are either from China, Taiwan or South-Korea
