  • Bobette was born in Congo and moved to Belgium with her family. After studying to become a midwife, she realized Belgium didn't feel like a home to her so she moved to Canada, where she met her husband and gave birth to two beautiful children. She and her husband decided to make the bold move after they heard of Year of Return program and under Covid rules and regulations they felt it was best to move there and then.
Now she helps women in Ghana to go through their pregnancy and birth journey and she advocates for them when its needed. you can contact her through her email, website or instagram:

Watching from sunny Barbados. I would love to hear about the husband. We currently have about two hundred Ghanaian nurses working here in Barbados. 🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧

She is brave for following her heart blindly to live in a country she's never visited, and I love the gift she is sharing with so many women when they need it the most. The world needs more women like her!

I see some comments about your videos being too short.
The length is just perfect for me . I get to watch till the end and it doesn’t get boring. Love it 😊❤

What a great profession she has. I think she will do great in Ghana, supporting first time mothers. The video end somehow abruptly. Are you going to interview the husband too?

We did actually interview her husband but I couldn’t put it in the video as the topics were a bit different
