  • To answer this question I spoke with three friends who all happen to be CZcamsrs as well. @TrueVonne , @NiiYemoh and @LydiaEsenam who each shared their journey and reason to leave Ghana. Please check out their vidoes as well. all are amazing content creators.
And let me know in the comments what do you think of the whole moving crisis in Ghana? do you agree it's a crisis? are you also thinking about leaving Ghana? if so, what is your reason ? If not, what motivates you to stay?

I often hear complaints about the problems or challenges Ghanaian face are as a result of bad leadership, my question I have for those people is, who chose those leaders? The expression you make your bed, you lay in it comes to mind. I think the biggest problem Ghana faces is ignorance.a lot of People don't even know they're part of the problem. Paying bribes has become so normalized to the point where everyone has to be brided just to do the job they're being paid to do. All the corrupt people taking bribes just to do their jobs are not all politicians, the whole society is so corrupted, from pastors taking money from poor people to live lavishly, to the police officer taking money from innocent people as well as people who are breaking the law, and letting them get away with it. It's about time everyone takes a good look in the mirror and see how they're contributing to the problems they're complaining about.

White people also left Europe in droves when Europe was poor and in a bad condition. They moved to the America's, Australia, Africa etc. The resources they plundered was what was used to rebuild europe. Chinese did the same thing in the 50's and 60's. Indians too. Lebanese too. Same way africans are moving abroad in a very bad time for africa and sending billions of dollars down to you. Ask ur finance minister if diaspora Ghanaians sweating to work abroad hadn't sent the billions of usd in remittances last year to bolster the weak economy, wether Ghana's economy wouldn't have totally collapsed. People find opportunities in different countries far from where they are born. Ghanaians are also free to go wherever life presents us with opportunity. If all ghanian diasporians should stop sending remittances and decide to come back now, the Ghanaian economy would collapse. Remittances contribute more to Ghana's gdp than gold and cocoa combined. People in the west are living the Hamster in a wheel lifestyle. I’ve lived in the UK for almost 20 years and I don’t think is worth the hype. In the Uk, they live on credit and this is because the average individual do not have enough disposable income to acquire most things after paying their bills. Accomodation- if it’s not rent then it’s credit, Personal vehicle-credit, mobile phones, home appliances-credit, furnitures-credit and even clothing- credit. U might have a mortgage but don’t even own the land so your house can be demolished by the government. This is a country where 72% of the population do not even have £1000 in their savings. They are living from Pay cheque to pay cheque. Doctors, nurses, teachers etc are over worked and underpaid. Work to life balance is pretty much non existent. You work just to pay bills(every one but yourself). Meanwhile, in Ghana people actually own things.

A bs question. Ghanaians have always travelled over the decades, its in the Ghanaian DNA. What about asking Why everyone is returning to Ghana? There are loads of diasporans returning to Ghana now but we can choose to focus on negativity rather knowing people come and go.

Oh senior, how's this "a BS question"? How's this focus on negativity? All the people she interviewed are people within her circles. So as a CZcamsr and a foreigner living in Ghana, that's what's she's noticed. You could have educated her on the fact that Ghanaians have been migrating for a long time and it's a part of us. YOUR CAPTION IS FALSE AND MISLEADING. And you know it, because you calculated this deceptive clickbait for views. This is very dishonest of you, as NOT everyone is leaving Ghana at all. In fact, over the past few years, inward migration has far outstripped outward migration. Who, exactly, is the "everybody" leaving Ghana you're referring to? The three people in your video? Really? And does that include you also? Is that a representative sample? Tell me, is "everyone" leaving the US, Britain, or China?
