I did have a problem with him separating children from their parents and putting them in cages as a deterrent. The issue is that Republicans lie about the facts, claiming there’s “an open border”, but only when Democrats are in power, which there patently, demonstrably is not and people who don’t bother to fact check, believe them.
One of the key issues in the south is the unprecedented number of migrants trying to cross. Ask yourself why that is. It is not because of “handouts”, it’s because Republicans keep lying that there ARE handouts.
