What is WRONG with the Map Packs?

- The map packs have received a ton of flak for a while now and i decided to take it upon myself to find out what is wrong with them. It's interesting what the difference is from a good and bad map pack.
This is a bit more serious than the stuff i usually make lol, dw more goofy things in the near future :)

I beat 6 map packs in a row to get glow (normal pack to electro pack, I skipped UFO pack for obvious reasons) and I can confirm, they're kinda mid ngl.
Yeah- the map pack fell off hardcore
I didn't know thats how you get glow, I guess I have to try and beat some map packs now
That’s exactly what I did, skip the ufo pack and do every other pack.
ufo pack is easy when you waste a week on it (what i did beacause i want to do it in order)

(I watched the video). I think the Insane/Demon map packs are very fun, they were a blast. The reason why, is probably because I love older levels, and their simple, but very challenging gameplay at 1x speed. Beating these levels was very satisfying but I can understand why others may not like them because of their weird gameplay or scarce decoration. But great video with honest opinions!
Yeah that’s a valid opinion, the main problem I have is the fact that there is no reason to have any of the levels in a pack grouped up together, especially with the later demon packs
@@BasicGDCreator Yes good point. Only ones like the UFO pack and Remix pack have themes. The map-pack names are kinda random. I think Demon packs are okay because it rewards the player for beating the first demon levels.
yeah the map packs are pretty bad, but to be fair themed levels didn't really exist until stereo demoness (which came out in 1.6 I believe)
Yeah which is why map packs were ahead of their time, there could have been the “forest pack” that had forest themed levels of similar difficulty in it that would’ve made more sense.
Knowing from experience because I have beaten ALL of the map packs, I can say that they were all nightmares to get through.

The Lightning Road was my 1st demon also! Then I went straight to Horizon Zero by NoWeek in December 2017 which was an early 2.1 level. The Nightmare was my 9th demon I think & I didn’t even do any of the 3 Robtop Demons until December 2020-January 2021 when I had like 80 demons under my belt at that point & was able to do them all relatively quickly except Deadlocked which still took me like 7 hours & 2,100 attempts.

random names + bad gameplay for most of them + unbalanced gameplay + 90% of them having no deco + unoriginal map packs (ufo pack, fast pack, etc.) + 18-19 demon packs + half assed map choices + only other way to get secret coins = SHIT FEATURE OF THE GAME
Yes that’s why they are such a massive missed opportunity

I really love mappacks! Some do require more skill but there aren’t any bad levels. I dont know why people hate?
Ah idk what you see in them, I feel like the gp is lazy even for the time, the deco is fine. And the theming and number of map packs makes no sense
I feel like square adventure and the ufo pack are the only reasons people hate map packs

most map packs suck because of the levels being bad / not rated right or just being to easy
Yeah it’s like 1. Bad rates, 2. Not good theming, 3. Pretty much forced, 4. Unbalanced in difficulty, and 5. Too many

Indeed, I took a 2 semester long chemistry class and got an A so I also have a pretty good grasp of the concept of ions. But hey most of the player base probably doesn’t lol. And impressive time to beat the map packs :)
