BIG BUD Tractor 🚜 Restoration - Part 10

- After many delays we finally have finished the BIG BUD 600/50 Tractor Restoration Project. Considering how many hundreds of thousands of acres this tractor has worked over its 40+ years in the field, it is deserving of this restoration. We are thrilled to get this beast back to work here at Welker Farms. About the only thing we wish we could have done different is added larger tires.
Stay tuned, the reveal time lapse video is coming soon! #bigbud #beast

Very nice job with the decals. The best part was looking at all the snow. It seemed to be so peaceful and beautiful.
The Bud looks amazing. Fantastic work guys. I drove one of these in Australia, 35 years ago! Keep up the good work.
Kind of overkill for herding sheep isn't it mate?
Well done to you all ! It’s a credit to all the hard work and long hours 👍
Congratulations. The family should take great pride in that tractor. It’s ready for another 25 years of great service. And blessings to the new baby Levi.
Nice job on the decals!!! The interior looks fantastic too!!!
Been a long while in the making but so worth it! Awesome to see your dad get in on the action as well!
Absolutely Fabulous! Great job Walker’s can’t wait to see the next project.
Man, I love Welker Farm videos.......the best on You Tube PERIOD, not just among "farming" videos!
Nick, Awesome video! Love seeing this beast coming back to life. Thank God for the farm! Without it we might be watching Nick and Scott's knitting and sewing videos! LOL just teasing! God Bless you and the rest of the family
Absolutely brilliant guys, it’s been worth the wait, well done 👍🏴🏴
Great to see dad still at the forefront of the team effort 💪👍👍👍
Awesome job... I never knew all those tricks about decals, thanks for sharing.
Big Bud looks really great gentlemen,I love it,its all about the finishing touches also having the opportunity to do these projects with you family,it's about the memories as well thank you Welker family God Bless from Waynesburg Pa...
Well Done Welkers!!!!
beautiful big bug
Love your dad. He is quite the comedian.
Decals set big bud off. Bob that was a cool trick on the hose clamp. 🚜🚜🚜🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Can't wait for the final release and the entire rebuild time lapse..! That beast looks amazing!!
Awesome job on the Big Bud, good for another generation of Welker4's !!!
I believe between the three of you...you could build any piece of farm equipment from scratch...very impressive!
Love seeing dad in the videos thanks a lot guys
The decals look great! That really improves the look with all the white paint.
Persistence always pay off guys. Looks like a brand new tractor to me. good job guys. Thanks guys for sharing.
Tractor totally transformed with the addition of the Decals 👍 and the cab interior is gorgeous 💪💪
That’s looks like a brand new tractor, good job Welkers👏👏👏
Wow! The Bud is back, sweet.
Welker always goes first class when they rebuild equipment. The $1500 for the Big Bud decals was well worth it!
Decals really brought it to the front...👍👍
I'm subscribed to 160+ channels and this is EASILY the best video of the week! Great work guys!
Love your attention to detail. Great work, looks awesome. Keep it up.
Leg arm you’re crazy man we all know you got big muscles man
very good sorry im late its been busy harvwsting beans and corn God bless and stay safe out there your dad is a great welder just like leg arms its nice having your dad with you working together someday i hope to move out to montana away from all the chaos and modern day cities
Looks awesome!! Great job guys!
Glass cleaner works good as well for the decals!! Great job guys!
Looks amazing! You guys have impressive equipment
You guys were on your game today. Funny and a great job. Thanks
Some folks have a video of a fire place. Welkers have a video of a propane space heater. That was actually soothing, and I felt warm all over. :-) The dog's facial expression appears to be saying, "will you get this done already, so I can ride on it." Bud looks awesome, nice updates and face lift!!!
hey Dad Welker..now i see who taught L/A to think outside the box..and your on camera personality is starting to shine through...keep it up!
you guys have a wonderful thanksgiving God bless
Decals look painted on. Nice work!
Awesome job on the tractor.....Great video! Looking forward to the next one.
Nice work guys! The decals look cool but idk, i really liked it with all white as well...so clean looking that way. You guys should do tractor restoration in the winter months😁
Anything good takes time and that Bud is no exception truly a professional appearing restoration !! But the best part is you're still going to put it back to work and get it dirty ! That's what I call doing things the white way !!! Haha Bob New appearing Bud and a new baby ? Thanks for the video !!
it's a beautiful machine ,, and you are right it's well deserving of being restored and put back to work ,,these machines were built to last and last they did ,
job well done guys , i look forward to seeing it in the field next spring
Now that's a tractor. That's Sweet!!
Hi Guys from Ontario, Canada. Great job on the videos etc! I sold equipment for CaseIH for a number of years - glad to see that you like your CaseIH combines. Keep up the good work!
Love the content as usual, just doesn’t seem the same though with a camera man. Idk what it is, just doesn’t feel like a homemade farm video.
Yeh I agree
Its pretty cool watching farmers take pride in restoring older tractors like that and going out and putting another 8 thousand hours on them. They dont build equipment like that anymore that lasts forever.
Those are farmer hands Bob. Been feeding a lot of people for years.
I would love to take a ride in Big Bud! Beautiful cab!
You should have leg arms make a vid about all the welders and welding equipment in the shop
Savvis I second that
Leg Arm so get his own channel of all about welding.
I would wanna watch that!
@Randy Travis In a way yes. Rob has his own, Leg Arm can have his own as well.
i'd wanna watch that
Your Old Man was a great touch. :-)
Great video thank you for sharing your farm to us on you tube
Fantastic job fellas she looks brand new
Can't wait....top notch
Sturgis,So.Dak!!!!
The Tractor looks Better then New. You have one Awesome tractor.
Looks brandnew! Nice job guys!
The BB is Lookin good!
Cameraman and outsourcing editor...I hope this grows on me.
Awesome Big Bud is looking sharp Welker Farms
look at those hands on papa Welker!! If anyone does not know what the definition of a man is, show them a few videos of these 3 men right here and that should clear up any confusion. Love the channel, you guys rock and are the kind of guys that make us working class very proud.

You guys have done such an awesome job restoring the big bud! Can't wait to see what your guys next restoration project is. And it's nice to see your dad participating in more videos I guess I really haven't noticed him in a whole lot but it's pretty darn cool that he's helping out and participating
Looks awesome decals make a big difference that's for sure that's the one hell of a beast👊👊👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪
I like that you’ve now hired a cameraman but it just doesn’t have the same feel as a camera in a hand
Yeah feels a bit impersonal to me or something
It feels like a tv show
I like it less.
I think it’s just different- will probably go back to the old format but is nice for a few episodes to mix it up
You're exactly right, we had an opportunity to have a videographer for a short time and so we thought it would be fun to try. I can tell you from our side we love it! The amount of work we can get done without worrying about holding a camera or when to record and when not to is amazing. But I also understand it changes the feel of the videos and some do not like that.
Well, well well. That interior is stunning. The Welker family did great. That is one good looking work platform, that is tractor. Going to work in the early am and staying to the late pm is going to be more pleasant. I know you guys like old equipment, but you rebuild it so well. Congrats.
The three of you are very talented!
Am I the only one who would love to see some tire tracks in some fresh snow from beastbine? Those LSW 1400’s would just leave a massive track in like 3” of some fresh snow!
Yall could make living restorin tractors and sellin them! Tractor looks amazing! It looks brand new!
Like the big bud, it’s looking great
You guys are very talented!! beautiful restore!!
Can't wait to see! Looks amazing.
That bud looks sharp!
Alot of work and it looks Great !!!
Hi Guys...🇦🇺
The Big Bud us coming along well..👍
We just purchased a 1979 400/ 30 Big bud from Montana there in the US...
We will be shipping it to Angola to run our new Rome RALSE-16 leveling scraper to prepare land for rice production..
Great video and camera work especially in the beginning.
What a great family
Decals look awesome 👍
Another fantastic video! Especially the videography when the camera was moving slowly but the video was fast forward. That was neat. Well done!
WOW!!!!!! That is the coolest tractor ever I,LL work for free if I can run that brute well done can't wait to see next video
That is truly a huge monster.
Nice job on that tractor ! It is one sweet unit. We restore tractors during the winter as well. We have about 15 classic tractors on our farm. We will be restoring a 4320 johndeere for our neighbor starting this weekend. Very good attention to detail on that bud it will be a great tractor for years to come. Stay safe and keep on keeping on !
Awsome job as usual guys cant wait to see it roll out!
I Love Bob's humor.
Nick u guys make my day every vidoe u guys release i miss montana so much keep up the good work
Loved the video. Now that its still in the shop might want to get it ready for planting like grease, engine oil and so on
It looks like Nick's trying for the Leg Arms look alike contest.
Watched the whole series fantastic job well done
Great job, guys!
That's a nice looking tractor. I really like the interior!
Yes indeed! Even a fancy radio that has two USB ports.
And no antenna lol
@@jaywilliams3489 Yeah, they did mentioned that in last video.
not the case ih seat.
I always enjoyed installation of decals back in the 80's when I owned a body shop in Pasco Washington. The most difficult ones were on the hood of the Pontiac Firebird. You guys approached it properly. Great job.
LOL I absolutely love your dad he reminds me of my grandpa and all the things he told me on our walnut ranch
Looks great!
You are all legends in my book ,you all have bought that Big Bud back ,looks Brand spanking new, great work 👍
The Montage of putting the stickers on reminded me of the eighties movie one wild and crazy summer.
Looks amazing guys!
That was totally unbelievable
Awesome restoration guys!! Cant wait to see it put to the test in the field
Cool 70s disco music fades in
thank you for another well done video
Beautiful tractor, beautiful work.
Congratulations
I first off want to tell you guys how much I enjoy watching your videos! I really thought it was cool to see that little clip of of your dad retro fitting that coupler and it got me thinking, every video or every so often you could do a clip of a small project or task that your dad is working on or has done and what it’s for or what it will be/ how it will work, almost like a tool time with Tim the tool man if that makes sense lol just a thought though ! God bless.
Love the decals. That is the sexiest tractor ever built. LegArms is da man doing some big flexing. Love the channel and the Welker family. God bless from Arizona
