Same, when he said that my instant thought was that he bought a house on LI because I live here and the townships have the stupidest zoning laws ever.
Well for starters there’s often city/county codes stating how close to property line, distance from drainage field (if on septic), etc.
Then, if you live in a neighborhood, CC&Rs often had guidelines you have to follow (ugh!).
Yeah building stuff sucks.
