For her age that she's striving so hard to earn money so she can have a descent place to live because she she does not want to live in the street. Kudos to her I must say. Unlike the rest that is more younger than her that don't want to do anything but yet to choose to live on the streets rather than to find ways like what Nanay is doing. Who knows selling balut daily can give her a descent place to live. It might not be much but the most important thing is she's not living on the streets. The only sad part is that she's been alone for 30 years. And she learn to manage to live like this so she can just survive daily. Hopefully that she lives more longer and good health. She has a better living condition, if not the best, compare to the other poor people that mark and rhea supported. Unlike the others, I reckon she doesn't live in the slum area.
lessbattle Your right I think the way someone is brought up is going to be the way you live Their is a lot of poor people l. Maybe the other people were handed down the way they live from generation to generation and kinda except it To them their is no other way and by the look of things their children will follow their pattern This Woman probably worked super hard not to end up like the way the other people have to live We ourselves grew up very very poor I remember at times we had to dumpster dive Just to be able to eat Now that Iam a mother myself I worked hard to give my daughter and son a better life So I wouldn't have to do for them what my parents had to do I have always said poverty is suffering and causes a lot of pain We all have to change My question is Why continue to have so many kids One thing for sure We were poor but never dirty Plenty of times we had no running water ounce a week we would go take baths at a neighbors house or a relatives house Every one probably has endured hardship in one point or another We pick our heads up and we try to make it robe able to see a brighter future
The thing is that's the choice they make for themselves. I mean we cannot blame lack of education or being poor as an excuses. I understand that some people are born to be poor. But if you died being poor as well then there is something wrong with your choices of lifestyle. Being poor is not an excuses to be in this position for the rest of your lives. Since knowing that your poor; why pass it on to your next kin as well. Make something out of your self. It may not be much but at least it's an improvement from where you are before. You don't want your children to have to go through what you have gone through before. If your answer is let it just be and what ever happen happened. Then for sure you will not achieve any thing by means. It is what it is.

People with more children if you look at their status in life they hardly went to school or had proper education to begin with. Some of them just finished grade 2 or just elementary for example. It is not because they have no TV that is why they multiply like rats. That is not true. All they do is sex when the night falls, that is incorrect also. Naturally poor families do not have enough to feed their kids or have money for the following day or weeks to come. Out of frustration and fear of the future, they thought of having more number of children so that someday their children is the one who will help them in their struggles to make their lives a little bit pleasant than what they had. A wrong notion or belief but this belief has been around since the time you and I haven't been born yet. The women are scared of the contraceptive because they do not have enough information or knowledge on how to use or what they are for in the first place.

Well, Ms. Maldita Babae, I am not telling that I should wait for rich Filipinos to help the less fortunate, what I am trying to imply is that I am HOPING that in their own little way, they can lend a hand to help the needy. After all, each one of us as a citizen has a social responsibility. I am a rural development practitioner and likewise not rich, in my own special way by providing technical assistance to fisherfolk and farmer I know I have supported them. Bridging the gap between the poor rural community to government intervention is a good way to help.

I really felt so sad for her she's 79 years old and all alone struggling to survive by herself. It was so touching that they were so thoughtful to celebrate mother's day with a special cake for her and to see her light up with a smile. Mark & Rhea you both are an amazing selfless young couple who are always helping the poor. I hope that your team will be able to go back every now and then to check up on her to make sure she's doing okay. 💜She's such a sweet grandma.💜

@@preetibansal8981 Where is your compassion on a human being? Why do you have more compassion on a baby duck? In the Bible, the word of God, there is no mention of KARMA. She didn't end up living alone after losing her husband and 5 sons to TB while selling baby ducks. She only started selling the duck eggs to survive (and not be homeless) after she lost her family members to TB.
I suggest you watch the whole video to get the whole story. If you're pro-abortion of living babies in the womb but care more about baby ducks we, human beings were meant to eat to survive then you need to examine your heart.

from the very beginning I was legit crying from the fact that she's alone in life and still wants to work far from her house just to make a living. Also he hasn't created a charity yet because it gets a lot of tax taken. His message though is to personally give yourself instead of donating it to charities.

No he's a JERK. All I want is a phone number of the woman so I can send her money through XOOM so she can retire and have a comfortable life and he can't even do that! I hope one day Mark stands in front of GOD and tries to explain why he couldn't bother to give me the woman's number or contact information so I could give her money to live in a nice place with plenty of money. I want to truly help this woman and he won't even respond to me. What is the harm in putting me in touch with her so I can SET HER UP FOR LIFE! I have the resources to do it. I emailed him and tried several times to contact him and NOTHING. This woman is still suffering because MARK can't be bothered to give me some basic information. I have a wife who can speak the language and family in the Philippines who can help her. Why doesn't he let me help her?
