🟥 DISCLAIMER: I make these videos to share my own personal methods and techniques for how I make cold process soap. These videos are not intended as tutorials for beginners. The content I create is intended for those who already have an understanding of cold process soap making. Cold process soapmaking involves working with sodium hydroxide (NaOH, also referred to as lye). Lye and raw soap can permanently damage your eyes and burn your skin. When making soap, you should already know and practice lye safe handling procedures and always wear safety gear during the entire soapmaking process, even while cleaning up. I hope you find watching my videos helpful or entertaining. However, due to the many variables that can affect a particular batch of soap, if you do try any of my methods or techniques that I use in my videos, I cannot be held liable or responsible for your results.

Hi! Can't believe it's February already! Hope you're all doing well. Thanks for watching! - Holly :)
Do you get your soap making supplies from Amazon
Happy New Year Holly! Question: do you weigh your coffee water before freezing into cubes? Or do you just use the weight of the ice cubes?
You're awesome! Thanks for the lesson.
Thank you so much Holly for sharing this , really appreciate ❤❤❤
Holly, if you haven't already been crowned, I hereby crown you the Queen of Soap. Your videos are so informative! I have caught the bug! I started watching videos so I think I am going to take the leap to attempt to make some soap. Question on this video: If you are using coffee and coffee grounds, would that not be your fragrance also? Why the peppermint? Thank you again for the articulate way you present your videos.
These look absolutely luscious☕
Thank you so much, Ellen!
I love the consistance
I bet that smells wonderful! And so pretty.
Beautiful soap!
Your soaps are always perfection 😊
So appreciate if your videos. So informative and relaxing to watch. Thank you!

Love watching you! Just started on my soap making journey and you’ve been so helpful! Thank you ❤
Hi Holly! I love watching your videos. I just started making soap. You're and inspiration. You voice is so calm. You makes cold soap process so easy. Thanks for sharing your recipes with the world. God bless you 🙏🙂
I made a coffee soap last year (inspired by you). I colored a portion of the batter with cocoa powder and did a swirl. Really pretty!
Ooh coffee soap! One of my favorites! I love how all your soaps look so creamy ❤️
Hey there. I made coffee soap yesterday and I've still not taken it out of the mould yet. I used very strong coffee instead of water then added coffee powder after tress as well as some cocoa colour for a deeper brown (I made half light brown for swirls). The coffee smell was so strong during the whole process but somehow it doesn't smell like anything anymore. Will it smell strong when I cut it or will the smell get stronger with time? I'll honestly be so sad if it doesn't smell like coffee since I'm sure it'll be so pretty.
Aww. So beautiful and I love ❤️ your videos, their so relaxing and Thank you for the recipe
Thank you so much for sharing! I could almost smell the soap as you were making and slicing it! 🤎☕️🧼
Thank you for watching! 💕
Hi Holly, your videos are really great. Super informative and vary relaxing to watch and listen too. I made my first batch of soap tonight! I have never been particularly interested in soap making but stumbled onto your videos about three weeks ago and am absolutely fascinated by the process. Looking forward to trying some of the swirl techniques and experimenting with fregrances. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for the insperation.

Perfect soap, beautiful
Thank you so much!
Thanks. Very good information 👍
Love your videos
I tried a coffee soap recipe. I only put in a small amount of coffee grounds too. It worked well with only a little bit of grounds.
Thank you for sharing 😊 coffee my favourite.
Madame no one uses telegram any advertisement for SOAP or pictures please remove it.
Nice!
I love your all the videos.
Love from India 👍
Thank you very much for sharing your videos. Love the way you explain the process of making soap step by step less intimidating. You speak so clearly and calmy. I have learned a lot from you. Do you have a recipe book i can buy? Thank you again. Carmen
Thanks for sharing love watching your videos, can't wait to do my own soap, but not sure how to calculate oil batch size need your help please. Thanks 😘😘
Hi Holly! The soap is beautiful. So you recommend a certain coffee bean? Or is any bean in to make this soap? Also if I needed to sub out the shea butter, what else can I use?
This is gorgeous soap! Can you use the coffee without freezing it first? I like to soap at room temperature. Thanks!!
Beautiful soap making video do you have any link for the fragrance please
Woow
Hi Holly, ty so much for sharing, can you pls tell me what’s your mold size in oz’s or lb, love all you video, Ty
Oh I really like this soap, I've never made coffee soap before, does the coffee smell come through? I love your videos Holly, hope you're doing well too. 😊 💞
This is my question as well. Does the smell of coffee come through, if so how strong? Does it leave a discolor on your skin?
Thank you! 💕 The coffee scent doesn’t come through in the finished soap. I always use a fairly strong coffee and get no coffee scent or skin staining. 😊
Thank you holly
1) Suits which types of skin?
2) after 48 hours after leaving for 3 hours in preheated oven to 70 celcius, is it ready for use?
Thanks a lot
I like the smell of coffee. If I don’t use fragrance in this soap will it smell like coffee? I want that scent without using fragrance. I only use essential oils in my soap
Hello Holly. I really enjoy your soap making video. I have a question. The mould you are using is tall and skinny mold which is 12" x 2 1/2" x 4". Are these inside dimensions or outside? Also how thick in inches you slice the your soap? Thanks.
I have a question about CPOP. Does this still work with an electric oven? I always thought after you turn off the oven it's the pilot light along with the oven light that helps keep a bit of heat in the oven but with an electric oven there is not pilot???
I just love both of your channels!! Thank you for taking the time to teach!!!
That is so beautiful! Have you tried coffee butter in soap?
I always add coffee butter to my coffee soap.
Hi. Thank you for your videos/tutorials. For the mold, what kind of paper did you use? It is a certain brand? TIA
Since vanilla fragrances can discolor soap, would it change the color of this since you used coffee?
Hi holly, i just watched ur video. I want to ask you how about if i skip the oven process?
Good job Holly but what is I don't want to use an oven can I leave it over night.
Can you use just olive oil and the coffee lye?
Hello. I was confused 😕 how many grams of coffee & lye did this 1000g recipe call for? Beautiful soap
let me know
is it redy to use after 3 days?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Does this soap smell like coffee even though peppermint oil was used for scent?
What is the benefit of replacing the water with coffee?
Mam, may I ask, I follow your recipe and has problem during blending. My mixture turns harden and clump. I use 240 gram coffee ice cube and 135 gram NaoH for my Iye solution, oils I follow your recipe. Am I blending for too long? How long did you turn on your hand blender?
I don't understand the peppermint/spearmint in coffee soap
Can we leave the oven process?
why do you put the soap in the oven?
Im new to this soap world and need information...
and you are so amazing...
It's to help it go through the gel phase.
What is the size of each bar after cutting?
Fun fact: Ethiopia discovered coffee. If it wasn’t for Ethiopia there would be no starbucks and you’d have no morning cup of coffee. No more crediting Italy or America for coffee. Ethiopia invented it and the world needs to know this 🇪🇹🇪🇹🇪🇹
Most definitely
Mother Nature invented it! And maybe if the Ethiopians hadn’t discovered it then, it would have been discovered later, there still or somewhere else across the world. Thank you Africa, but thank you Mother Gaia. For we are here experiencing her resources, we don’t own what is of the soil or are the creators of it. Just my point of view. Love love love the soap mind you Holly, and I’m not even a coffee drinker. Bless you.x
Do you use distilled water for the coffee?
Yes, I do. I have really hard water where I live, so I always use distilled even when making coffee or tea for soaps. 😊
I am new to soap making and am finding the high 30% coconut oil that is in most recipies to be very drying on my hands, can you please make a video on low coconut oil receipie and how to avoid dryness, thank you so much
I’m the same. Anymore than 23% coconut oil and my skin just gets too dry. I made a recipe using a high shea butter percentage (60%) with a low coconut oil percentage (I believe it was 10%) you might like. It’s probably my favorite soap for my dry skin. If you go to my CZcams page and click on videos, you’ll see it listed not too far down. 😊
Hi Holly, did you have to superfat the recipe?
@HollySoapmakingg Reported.
hi i just looked on your facebook page and didn't see anything about buying so i wondered if you sell your soaps?
I don’t sell soap anymore, but thank you for inquiring!
@@hollysoapmaking ah okay well if you were still selling i'd be interested in buying :)
If the coconut is drying for your hands, then maybe this recipe needs a higher superfatting than 6%
