Yeah that’s the algorithm. If you went in with only with meta Pokémon, you almost only get meta as opponents! If you spice pick, you get more spice and non meta as opponents 🤙 try it for yourself 😊

QOTD: One of the rarest pokemon that could statistically exist would be Great League Nihilego. The only possible IV spreads for a lvl 15 nihilego at lvl 15 are 0/0/0, 0/0/1, and 0/1/0. Because of this, only new friend trading lvl 15 nihilego is possible to yield a great league eligible one. If you have even 1 point in friendship, it is impossible to get a great league nihilego through trading.
Sadly you have to have at least one friendship heart to do a Special Trade, which trading a Nihilego would entail. So GL Nihilego is totally impossible

I did manage to get one of these with a hat and thought that was rare, but getting a hundo is absolutely insane!
I have a “lucky” shadow snorlax and “lucky” shadow charmender that was traded at the first day when the shadow came out, which gives them one of the most hardest shadow to get. I traded before they banned the trades of shadow pokemons after few hours.
QOTD: I once read that a shiny shadow 0% pokemon is like 1/700million or something like that. My numbers could be super off, but I'm certain it's one of the most absolute rarest things you can catch. I've never even seen one, or even heard of anyone having one. I've seen shadow shundos before which are one of the holy grails of rare pokemon, but never shadow shnundo/0%
1/4096 for the 0% odds and the shiny for shadow shiny eligible Pokémon is set to 1/60 or 1/100 at the moment, so 1/240.000 or 1/400.000’ish depending on what the actual shiny odds are. Considering you typically can only get them from rocket leaders, the odds of actually having one is low, yes.
1/64 for team rocket leaders and apparently 1/256 for rocket grunts (where I never got a shiny from so far…)
My rarestvis a level 1 shiny Raikou, from that day during go fest several years ago when u could get a chance at legendary spawn,
And my 100% shiny Dialga that came out of a regular non lucky trade. Insane it turned into a 100% on a full odds trade, has to be insanely rare like that. 🎉

Pretty much any level 1 shiny hat baby, glitch gofest pokemon or wild shiny raid exclusive caught in wild and viable for pvp (shiny GL costume dragonite or sneasel).
Qotd, probably a legacy shadow lucky Pokémon, possibly shiny as well and then a ridiculous I’v spread, believe iv floors on lucky weren’t introduced so a shadow shiny lucky snorlax with 0 ivs is probably one of the most impossible to get

Qotd: Level 1 shiny hundo xxl/xxs non traded baby pokémon. Low level accounts hatch pokémon at lower levels, so, theoretically you can hatch it if one of your very first egg hatches is a shundo baby.
I actually don't understand how that works, because I'm sure when you catch your starter Pokémon you instantly gain the xp to level up, but I have seen people with level 1 shiny baby Pokémon & I think someone with a shundo level 1 Riolu so obviously it is possible.

For the question of day i think the rarest one is probably first day pogo 2016 hundo snorlax or dragonite date exclusive not many people consider it but i think it is rare since you cannot ever get any pokemon with the dates

GL Xurkitree is theoretically possible, but ABSURDLY rare. You need to trade for a research one at 1* friendship, and only 4 iv spreads fit under 1500.

QOTD : Shadow Shiny Lucky trade Hundo Houndour. Let's call it SSHLoundo (the extra o is four hOund). Because during the first wave of Shadow Pokemon releasein July 2019, shadow Pokemon were able to be traded. But Houndour was released shadow in August. Somehow, a bug occured that allowed trainers in Australia to trade shadows again and then was fixed.
Obviously this Pokemon doesn't exist but it could have. Theorically.

Guys, i need opinion on my master league team. The team is melmetal: the electric fast move, double iron bash, super power. Purified mewtwo: psycho cut, psystrike. Haxorus: counter, breaking swipe, surf. Ive gotten a lot of wins with this team but im wondering if theres a way i can make it better.
If you have mewtwo candy, make it double moved, remove double iron bash and make melmetal learn rock slide and remove surf and teach haxorus night slash (good for psychic and ghost types)

the rarest pokemon is probably a fully maxed out level 50 shadow starly with 2/3/0 ivs because it has no value and nothing special about it so nobody would possibly have it leveled up to level 50

QOTD: I envy HomeSliceHenry with his Perfect IV unobtainable Quick Attack Starmie. Unobtainable Mud Shot Dugtrio performs amazing from what I've seen. Outside of stuff you can't get anymore, I suppose a Hundo of any limited Legendaries (Zygarde, etc.) are probably at the top of the theoretical list.
On a personal note, I'm so happy I have a 96% IV Zarude I'm in the (tedious) process of building. And I too have a Shadow Hundo Snorlax, but not with the hat. That's godlike luck.
Mud Shot is actually legal now on Dugtrio as of Scarlet/Violet.
I believe a nundo (or technically any IV combination with one of the stats below 10) mewtwo is possible since on release of GBL and gbl pokemon encounters, there was no floor iv for legendaries for some time.
I got very very lucky on my 2nd cosmog and got the hundo... its now solgaleo but will be like 10 years before i get her maxxed lol

Rarest pokemon in the game would probably be something like a wild lake trio legendary. Technically possible but I don't think I've heard of someone catching one.
It is rare indeed, but definitely there are people who caught them (as I am one of them xd, managed to catch wild 0/8/5 wild Mesprit). However even though some people got them, I'm pretty sure finding something like lvl 1, hundo or nundo, shiny is really rare and cool 😮
I have a wild Azelf sub 1500. Actually had a few called out on our discord at first release. Not the rarest thing imaginable.
A great league shiny Azelf would now be a lot rarer. Tbh I don't even know if wild lake trio is shiny unlocked 😅
A Mespirit appeared on my nearby once several years ago but it was 6am & I didn't want to get out of bed. I think a couple of people locally were able to get it though.

The rarest pokemon in the game is probably an XXL or XXS shundo Pikachu Libré. Probably nobody has this. Since you have to get legend in PVP to even encounter one.

Is it actually possible though? I don't think you can special trade at zero friendship, but I saw Caleb Peng's tweet a while ago where he had a traded purified Sableye with a zero stat in the IVs.
