They are all dark blue, and in the shade of a dark garage they can look black. There are no other colors offered, so you can be certain that the ones you have are the correct ones. Lyle :)
The issue is the rear control arms. They move in more than 1 plane. Poly bushings are not compatible with that type of movement. I have Banski arms on my car.
@@tannerdehler1014 They have been seamless so far with no issues of any sort, not too harsh or noisy. I have checked the boots a few times but they are holding up so far. The car has been driven about 3K miles since they were installed.
So... I just received a full set of these bushings for my C4 and I can tell you right now the install is not EASY... In fact, I'm at a point where I may need to pay someone to install them for me or go back and get poly bushings (which may be cheaper). These things slide all over the place, no matter how much you try to control them. There needs to be a clear step by step on how to get these started when pressing them in. I have used a vice and a hydraulic press and neither seems to work. Also, the bushings for the two rear strut rod braces are also incorrect. You send two small and two large, but the strut rod braces are not identical, so one bushing is too large for the opening. If these items can't be remedied then I would recommend another product cause putting these in will make you loose your mind, and you'll have to go purchase another bushing for the smaller strut rod brace.
I am not knocking your bushings at all because I don't know anything about them. But I will say that it's simply not true what you said about polyurethane bushings squeaking and crumbling. If it's a reputable brand and you install them correctly and grease them as instructed they don't squeak and a lot of the polyurethane bushings come with a lifetime warranty. So I don't think yours are the only ones that come with a lifetime warranty. Obviously if you buy a cheap knock-off set of polyurethane who knows what you get. But isn't that true with anything? Sometimes overselling isn't a good thing. Just saying...
Respectfully, in our 45 years in the Corvette service business, I can tell you that is has been our experience that polyurethane bushings have a very real problem with squeaking and crumbling. We have Corvettes on our lifts every day, and we see this problem repeatedly. In fairness, it is impossible to tell what brand of bushing a crumbled mass of polyurethane crumbs is, and there may be someone out there making them that doesn't have these issues...we are just not aware of them. One thing I am certain of is that our synthetic elastimer bushings do not do those things--ever. Overselling is embellishing the truth to move product...we don't do that because we don't have to. I respect your opinion, but it doesn't match what we have seen in the last 4 and 1/2 decades in our shop. I recommend polyurethane bushings for track cars only, as those cars are torn down and rebuilt repeatedly and aged poly parts are replaced regularly and squeaks and rough ride are expected. I do not recommend them for a street car that may not have them inspected for a decade at a time. Thank you for your comment, and I hope that My answer clarifies our position. Lyle

I have the SuperPro Bushings on my '91 ZR-1 for a year now. Am very happy with them. Firm, but not too firm. No squeaking like Poly.

I replaced every bushing on my ‘95 with SuperPro, and got new Bilstien ZR1 shocks and damn.. it’s completely changed the car.

Generally by yourself 3 hours. If its your first time changing bushings, 5 hours. If you're relatively new at working on cars, a day tops

They are very similar to the stock rubber bushing ride with the added benefit of reducing vibration to the chassis far better than rubber does. Lyle
