When they bought out Bausch & Lomb, Luxottica changed the Caravan to a slightly more oblong shape that they called "New Caravan." Have they returned to the more square proportions of the original Bausch & Lomb and offer that again now, or are they producing both?

If you have a more round face like myself I recommend the caravan over the aviator. I compared both back and forth at the store and decided to go with the caravan.
Same here, only trying to decide if I like them enough to get a clear prescription version with transition lenses or if they look better just as dark sunglasses.

Caravan would be perfect in a slightly smaller size.
I love Ray-Ban for my motorcycle. Had to get another pair and noticed my new $120.00 glasses were not polarized! You have to ask for them to come polarized. When you pay $120.00 or more for Ray-Ban sun glasses, by God they should come polarized. An excuse was made that some aviators don't care for polarized sun glasses. How many people who buy Ray-Ban's are flying jets? . . . . not many. I would guess maybe 1%.
