Beady Eye's problem was brand recognition. Noel had the Gallagher name, which helped his success, whereas, in my experience, a lot of older Oasis fans had not even heard of the name Beady Eye. That's why, in my opinion, Liam has had more success as a solo act. I like his solo work, but the two Beady Eye album's were just awesome. Had they been Oasis or Liam solo albums, they'd be hugely famous and held in very high regard by the music masses. A shame, though I certainly admire what they were trying to do.

Honestly, I started getting into oasis a few months ago, and before that I only ever heard the song Wonderwall and I heard the band name Beady eye plenty of times before, but I had no idea about Noel Gallagher's high flying birds. Just my 2 cents tho🤷🏽♀️

Me too! Noel is a good singer (and a great great songwriter, obviously), but Liam is the iconic voice of Oasis. His raspy, flavourful vocals; plus his charisma added such an irresistible charm to everything.
Noah sings well, but Liam has a more distinctive and charismatic voice, both dangerous and vulnerable, plus his stage presence magnifies it. The combination of Naoh's songwriting, arranging and guitar playing with Liam singing lead is what made Oasis great - the source of their appeal. It's the two of them together that created magic.

Sad to hear the end of Beady Eye. Even though I just couldn't get into them quite as much as the previous band with Noel (who we all know), I like the fact they seemed to do what they wanted, not what was fashionable,trendy or mainstream. I think the second album in particular demands repeated listens to discover the subtleties.These guys can write good songs, as seen on the two albums and the last two Oasis records too. Soldier on guys...

This song is awesome.…the dark undertones pulls you into this mystic world, I would like them to expand in this direction more and more, liam can be the shaman and noel and continue singing folk feel good songs as he does brilliantly, and let the magic man liam cast the spell of no apologies rock n roll for this otherwise boring world.....keep fucking rocking liam, your golden!! But of course you already know that!!

DearBear In music there is no single pattern of perfection. If such a pattern could exist, would be difficult to see how a musician so unoriginal as Noel could represent.
It's not about perfection. Noel is a great musician, Liam is more talented at singing. They were like the pieces of a puzzle. That's what made Oasis magnificent. But without Noel, Beady Eye is just an ordinary indie band. Although i admire them very much, they are nowhere near Oasis. And it seems like Noel is just doing fine without them. HFB are amazing...
