Raul, Thank you for all your videos. I got in to modular in October. I always watch your video's, before purchasing a doepfer item. They are so easy to understand. Thanks again Ben.

rg7120 An AR would perform the AR functions that can be patched with the A170, not sure you could still get the two types of slewing notes available from the A170. Thanks for watching.

Could this be useful to something like acid melody?

Couldn't an AR generator do all of that too?

Why are these things called a slew "limiter"? Seems like a slew "introducer" :-).
    Thanks for the demo, though!

Slew regards to the "jump" in the voltage. Think of a Squarewave as 100% slew. Now "limit" your slew by making it longer with a Slew Limiter. The new Doepfer A-171-2 is called a "Voltage Controlled Slew Processor/Generator", tho, maybe that easier to understand.

I guess the FILTERING effect comes out of the A-120, not out of the A-170. Try to demonstrate that the A-170 actually FILTERS by connecting it DIRECTLY to the mixer, with NO FILTER in between.

The A-170 really filters, and I’ve used it that way quite a bit. If it slows slew and oscillation, think about what it would do to those high harmonics.
