The travel time by Nilagiri Express, Kovai Express, Cheran Express is around 8 hours, and the travel expense is around ₹400.. But, the latest Vande Bharat trains travel the above distance of 497 kms approximately in 6 hours. So, the time saved is just 2 hours, but whereas the travel fee in Vande Bharat is ₹1000. But, other express trains travel fee around ₹400.. So, traveling in Vande Bharat Train, Railway Department is looting ₹600, from Common Man, for just saving 2 hour travelling time.
