Welcome to the video! I've decided to make a guide to The Rose, to help people who try to get to know them~

this is one of the most detailed and updated guides on them, thankyou for making this!! but just a correction woosung was born in Korea not in LA, but yes he was then raised there!

@@janagriffith3003 he didn't have to do the mandatory enlistment cuz he's an American! a korean-american cuz he was born in Korea but then moved to California. you can watch this interview and at 1:08 he talks about it!

@@janagriffith3003 When did he say that? I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have to enlist because he was given American citizenship as a kid. You can become a citizen if you’re not born here although it can be a bit of a process.
He said in the " lying detector" interview that he was born in Korea
I am really glad that their dispute with their company did not affect their career or the band much, and they now have more freedom (and money) to make awesome music. I had to say I was really worried back then when I heard that they got into a law suit with the company as it does not end well for most kpop groups that got into a dispute with their company, but thanks goodness everything turn out fine in the end.

It must have been difficult for the Black Roses this period of doubt about the band, but I am very happy to see that they are back together and especially under their own label!
I quickly knew the band thanks to the songs She is the Rain and Sorry, but what made me fall completely in love with them was the album Heal. It is beautiful... Right now, I listen to it in a loop...

There are tons of things to like about The Rose. I decided to share the thing I like the most: Woosung's voice--it is absolutely haunting... and the least: that so many songs are love songs. I'd like to have them branch out a little more. But they are still worth listening to!
I found the guide to be helpful. I tend to listen to them without watching the videos, so I can only recognize Woosung.
The vocals for Suga's Snooze reminded me I needed to check back in with The Rose!
Found them only last night and now lm into them hook line and sinker.. Suga featuring them in Snooze had me blown away. My two best bands ❤❤
I saw a video on instagram a few days ago, it was about Woosung’s metaphoric talk about moths and butterflies. I was really impressed with this talk and wondered who the guy was.This is how I met with The Rose. I have started being a kpop fan with INFINITE and BTS (it means I have known kpop for about 10 years) but I have not been fangirling for a long time (I’m still a fan of BTS and INFINITE) because I think the kpop industry is not as good as before. But after a long time I’m impressed with a new kpop band. Thank you! it’s a really good video to be informed :)
Your guide is very helpful for me : I'm a bit ashamed to say as many people that I knew their name though I was not that interested in them, since I prefered bands that give dancing performances. But as many I fell in love with Woosung's voice in Snooze with Agust D, and now I'm interested in their music and I've started to go through their songs and their history. ❤

My favourite band, I discovered them in May while I was going throughout a very bad period with family issues, I listened to the Heal album on CZcams and definitely fall in love. I just become a premium black rose and going to their concert in April ❤🎉

I recently discovered The Rose because of Snooze. I love Woosung's voice. Thank you so much for this video. It's helpful to get to know them a bit more. I'm going to their concert in Atlanta at the end of the month and i'm really excited!
I only knew few songs from them and I always wanted to dive dipper and I wanted to do that when BTS was going on "hiatus". We all know how that ended 😂 But now I finally have some time and I'm driving deep in The Rose. They are definitely worth to give them a chance!

I just came to know about them today a few minutes ago through an ad featuring they're latest song "Come Back To Me". I listened to the whole song in the ad itself. And after seeing their debut date... I got to know of them just before they're debut!
I found them back in 2018 with Sorry. And have been almost obsessed with them. But they had only a handful of songs back then. I wish more and more music to come from The Rose 🌹. Heal is a beautiful album.
I discovered The Rose when Woosung sang the chorus on SUGA’s “SNOOZE” song! I loved his voice and did some researching and have followed ❤️🔥🌹🌹THE ROSE🌹🌹❤️🔥ever since!

One more thing - when u said get ur tissues ready I was ready for sth emotional. But then I literally was in need of tissues😭. They r so strong to go against their ex-company like that at a time when it wasn’t long since they had debuted and still unsure. I'm glad took some time off and now are back - happy and healthy. I just wish they will continue to grow and get a lot of love and support from Blackroses.

Ive been obsessed with SOUR lately even thou idk much about the rose,im had 0 knowledge bout them. Actually i know bout the rose since jae and woosung in jae ytube channel a long time ago. And im aware that Jae and Woosung are friend. But at that time i havent interesting on them. One day when im scrolling my Ytube,there one a ytube short that use one of their song which is RED(ik the song from the comment sect of that ytube short😁😁) and its instantly catch my ears,makes go to my spotify to check them.

sorry to ask this it's just because for me it doesn't make sense, usually the main vocalist is the one with the most lines or who has the best voice, i like leo's voice but it wouldn't make more sense to be woosung the main vocal?
I honestly don't know for sure, but my guess is: Leo probably is more developed in his singing? Bigger range or more training as he was a trainee for some time. But Woosung has a more unique voice. And given his popularity, their ex company pushed him to the front A LOT. giving him solo stuff, magazine shoots, etc. Maybe someone could correct me or add the actual reason why 😅
+ in Loona for example, even tho they don't have official positions, it is clear that Chuu and Hasuel are the best in the vocal department (as much as I know) still, hasuel gets almost no lines 🤷♀️
