- In this video I'm headed to China Mama, the popular and award winning Chinese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown Las Vegas. The food here is spicy and delicious and I hope you enjoy my review of the dishes!
Now I'm no professional food critic, just an ordinary guy who loves most cuisine and Chinese food definitely ranks highly on my personal tier list of good eats. I'm very thankful you watched the video!

Maybe my favorite Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. I love the Szechuan Fried Chicken with peppercorns and chilis, great stuff.
We went to china mama#2 two days ago! Ordered crispy beef, tan tan noodles, salt and pepper fish, green beans and spicy wontons! Everything was really good! And service was good! We’re going back!

Formerly living in Spring Valley, I have eaten here a few times. The dumplings and scallion pancake were very memorable. There were a few dishes you had I have not, they looked delicious also. I may have to return for another meal. Thanks for sharing and nice work as always!!
I've never had a bad meal there and my two favorites, the dry pepper chicken and mapo tofu, are always consistently delicious. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching!

It's fantastic, but the location in this video was closed due to a kitchen fire but they have since reopened at their new location here: 4266 Spring Mountain Rd #106, Las Vegas, NV 89102. I haven't personally been able to stop by yet but I will sometime soon. Hopefully it's as good as it was before! Thanks for watching!

It was so good! Unfortunately, the original location shot in this video caught fire overnight and was destroyed but China Mama reopened in the Shanghai Plaza here: 4266 Spring Mountain Rd #106, Las Vegas, NV 89102. I haven't been to the new location yet but I will check it out sometime soon. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for another great review Shin! I have had 3 of the 5 dishes you just described. We haven't tried the mapo tofu or the beef rolls but your video makes me want to try them. But those other 3 are among 3 of our favorites at China Mama. Next time you're there, try the cumin lamb dish. It's delicious too. 😋
Oh yes! The cumin lamb is excellent! This location unfortunately closed due to a kitchen fire, but they just reopened this past week in Shanghai plaza. Which actually saddens me a bit because that parking lot is kind of awful. But I'll have to go back soon. Thanks for watching!

Mala peppers are not super spicy, just very numbing. It's worth trying once I think!

The beef rolls are not wrapped in a rice roll but more of a scallion pancakes type dough so made from wheat not rice in case someone is gluten intolerant.

Did the ma po tofu have pieces of ground pork in it?
A lot of the pork was liquefied and there weren't too many chunks of it in the gravy. It did have a nice pork based flavor though. Thanks for watching!
