Tried fitting mine today, front bracket don't allow enough space for me to slide the step on to fasten the 2 bolts. Absolute nightmare

hi, do you remember were the brackets came from , I've got two sets of brackets 1 is supposedly for the dynamic and the other was of a genuine LR side step set for the evoque. both finish against the plastic trim you have to remove, I've noticed yours finished about a inch lower thus enabling you to slide the step between the trim and the bracket. any info would be great , thanks

Hi Ish, are original left side and right side running boards are different to each other??
In the kit I bought the sides and brackets were specific to each side
With the kit I bought, the body brackets were specific to each side but the running boards were basically the same, only with the threaded brackets in each running board pre positioned to suit each side. You can however move the positions of the running board brackets to suit where the body brackets are bolted, as pointed out in the vid.
