For me, Carmine Red is the mystery color you never see. Would love to see that in person in sunlight.

Thanks good facts! Back in the 996 days the C4 had silver calipers and the turbo had red calipers (non ceramic) if Im not mistaken. When did the C4 get black calipera and optional red? Foe the 997 Turbo red was exclusively for turbo if Im not mistaken? Finally would you choose any 992 (except turbo) over say a 991 Turbo S MkII such as in your video. Its also beautiful!

WOW~ BEAUTIFUL.
Thanks for the tour. Nice to see all the different specs next to each other. For me the chalk color spec was the best one in the video. However, my favorite is a Carmine red with RS spider wheels, black sports exhaust, sunroof and tinted glass with black lettering model designation. It's a darker shade of red, it stands out for sure as it should for a car such as the 911, yet IMO it is not too flashy like Guards red or Miami blue. If you ever get one in the dealership try to film it.

probably one of the best videos to give buyers deciding on what options to go with when choosing their 911.. maybe I am more of a traditionalist but I prefer the base front facia design over the sports one.. the rear bumper does look better on the sports version though. I also think the painted side skirts are a waste.. the black ones give the car more contrast especially on the lighter color paints such as the GT Silver car. The agate gray is still my favorite color.

Great video, most comprehensive I've seen on colours and options just missed Aventurine Green. Need more of these comparisons to help us choose between beautiful colours. Just wish I could have one of each.

I’ve been debating which color to order for months, but this video just sealed it for Gentian. The way it pops from across the room…I’ve never seen a color so beautiful.

Buy the gentian. I was going to but went with agate. Gentian looks the best in lower light but didn’t love it in bright light
@@er98ah I did, and am extremely pleased. To me it is boring in dim light but looks amazing in sunshine. To each their own!
@@brennelement6451 congrats! You liking the 992? Yeah the gentian is really a different color under different lights. So makes sense if you want your colors to pop that you prefer in sunlight.

One of the few vids out there about any car that compares the colours so well.
Imho, Agate Grey everytime. It is such a complex colour that changes under different light conditions.
I had a 991.1 Turbo S in that colour and it was an absolute beauty.
Btw, was that a 992 Turbo S parked up?? Only got a fleeting look of it

Hi Alex, love your videos, thanks so much for sharing. I would like to know your thoughts regarding chalk, specifically how it looks outside on a sunny day. I feel it looks bright and beautiful when captured inside showrooms but more opaque when exposed to natural light (from what’ve seen in videos). I am thing about the color specifically for a turbo S and where I live I have not seen the color in person. Thanks again and keep up the great content!
Dear Sebastian, I like Chalk a lot and really reminds me of Fashion Grey. It is available on 718 Boxster, 718 Cayman, Panamera and 911 for a few years now. Did you contact your local Porsche dealership to see it?
Yes I did, they don’t have any in chalk right now. I did see a a cayenne I believe in the color and It wasn’t as expected. Where I live you don’t see many of these cars so no a lot of colors to chose from, which meas you have to go by pictures which is never the same. Anyway. Thanks much for your reply

Thinking of picking up a convertible 4S. Tough decision picking a color combo though. Even the wheels are a tough decision.
