Today is the third year of NEIL PEARTS PASSING😢
R.I.P. NEIL ELWOOD PEART you are missed👑
Hey Guys ..Listen . As a big fan of Rush since the 70,s that was bloody fantastic …I am sure Neil is looking down with approval ..
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm shocked, did not know there was a RUSHfest,.. I'm impressed by the performance!
Looks like about 35 people knew about it lol
Fantastic cover! Our country's best band is represented well in Scotland. Cheers
🍁 rocks!
Just saw you guys at Grimsby Yardbirds. Brilliant show and thanks for chatting to us afterwards and having a selfie. Welcome back any time.
The Big Lebowski, or i mean the Dude, or Dudereno on guitar and Geddys dad on bass. LOL Great cover!!!
Best comment in this section! 🙂
Just puts a smile on your face. 😃
Never hear anyone play The Sphere live including Rush., Excellent!
I saw Rush play it on their Hemispheres tour in 1978. Alex used a 12-string acoustic guitar.
Thank you for keeping rush alive!!!
There is Geddy Lee in 10 years love it
Moving Pictures, long live Rush! Excellent and thanks.
Oh my goodness, enjoyed every second of this. Thank you for a great show. Peace Love and kindness you beautiful souls.
Good job, dudes and dudettes!!
Excellent, super drummer
Glasgow Rising !!!
Awesome!!! That girl killed it on that “little” kit!!! Lol. Especially on the hat and cowbells!! Loved the double neck Rick and Gibson!!! Vocals were really good and the guitarist tone was unreal!!! Nice touch ending with the sphere!!! Xanadu is definitely one of my favorite Rush songs!! Overall great performance!!!
The influence Rush had on musicians is immeasurable.
GOLD
The quality of lots of these tribute bands is unbelievable!! Well done all !! ❤
Well done. Great drums on a small kit.
You mentioned what I was going to comment about.
Given the limited size of her Drum Kit, she did a heck of a job!
Also, if you take a hard look at the Bass Player/Singer, he almost looks like a much older Geddy! He's got a really good voice.
Not too many can pull off the HIGH VOCALS of that song.
GREAT JOB....VERY WELL DONE!
Friggen awesome!!..... from Canada ...good day eh?
DaAAAAAAAMN!
Well done all!!! Impressed!!!!
I give a huge Hail Yeah to a Rush Tribute that is a 3 piece!
Especially with a great drummer (gender don’t matter good is good) and a player that does ALL of the ambidextrous things that Ged had to do live.
Great job.
Gotta ABSOLUTELY ❤the "mosh pit" is comprised of 50 and 60 something dudes wearing rock T-shirts 🐱I sure hope the lead singer is not considering crowd surfing 🙀
EDIT: WOW... this is an _impressive_ performance here... BRAVO!
We all love doublenecks.
Great performance!
That was Awesome!
Fantastic rendition! Seeing you guys for the first time tonight at the Tivoli. Very much looking forward to it based on this performance
How many masterpieces can one band write? Great job by this band!...they're all excellent musicians, definitely Rush worthy. Thank you for keeping Rush alive and your hard work. Im sure learning one song is a massive undertaking.....I've always wondered how someone remember all the parts of an 11 minute song lol.
Practice!!😂😂😂
We have to rush tribute project over here Getty Lee looks like the guy that does get Eli and he's a professor at UW Madison he plays facing keyboards and sing there's three guys is called The Rush tribute project they are really really good
Hi, thus is Steve - guitarist from Moving Pictures and founder of RUSHfest Scotland. I know the guys in The Rush Tribute Project well - they are really nice guys and indeed one of the best Rush tributes on the planet. You should check out the Songs For Neil albums. MP and TRTP are on them www.RUSHfestScotland.Bandcamp.com
Rush for the most part is a guy's day out. Great music.
Damn, give the Lady more drums!!
Why it is rhythm what counts?
its all about xanadu!!!!!
Good effort. Massive boots to fill. Especially the drums. As noted females both sides of the stage!
Just seen these at Wrecking Ball in Hull. Blown away by the musicianship and tightness of the band. There is nowhere to hide in a trio playing such complex and layered music and they totally nailed it 👌
well done))
Outstanding rendition of Xanadu. Wow. 👀👍
The awesome drummer identifies as Neil Peart's daughter. Great job all 3 of these rockers !!
Well done. 🤘😎👍🟥🍁🟥🎵🎶
Great tribute!
Love this, and really enjoying the drumming - great job!!
Awesome!!
These are my people! But I still have more hair.
...Rush fan from the beginning. You guys are superb...
I counted 2 girls in the crowd. New record
I think they were just guys with long hair, lol.
There were quite a few there that day - and the numbers are growing, especially now we have Jamie on drums.
The lead guitar player is AWESOME !!!! He must be Alex's brother, he looks like Alex !
I wish! Thanks though.
Seen them about 6 times and they never disappoint.
the greenhouse effect would play spirit of radio circa 1991
Fair play that was pretty on the money
Molto bene grazie frufru-,hv,.k
Awesome….can’t help but notice….a lot of balding men in the late 50s early 60s….once a Rush fan..a Rush fan for life
😆😆🤣
Early 40s here and have loved this band since I was 13!
Ha-ha first thing I also notice but hell I’m one of the 58 and rocking to RUSH since I was 12.
I'm 58 with long hair and a long beard and I will die that way 🤘
good
Great job. you sound great. Are the double necks Chibson ans Chinkenbackers?
Aye they're fakes - and totally do the job. If we won the lottery and bought "real ones" they wouldn't leave the house. (£14k for a double Ricky!)
@@movingpictures-rushtribute ...and that's probably Geddy's fault. Seems like if you want to play Xanadu, you have to have a Rickenbacker bass + 12-string.
Doublenecks!!!! Ya gotta have Doublenecks!!!🤔😁😁😁
Your Ricky has crazy tone.
Any chance of a spare couple of tickets for either the cart and horses or Half Moon this week guys?Completely sold out now as far as i can tell and only came across you yesterday when I spotted a wall poster at the Rolling Stoned Gig at the Half Moon!
*** Update all is well as I see you are there July 9th!See you then! Can I request a great and very rarely played song for the afternoon show?...The Necromancer???!!
Sorry I'm just seeing your post now mate. I'll add Necro to the pot!
@@movingpictures-rushtribute That's great also will you be playing Xanadu both afternoon and evening?
Nice job, the drum kit needs about 10 more Tom’s and 3 or 4 more cymbals.
lots of dudes there
Why the phones ,why?? Just watch listen and enjoy . Like the better times before. Use your imagination FFS!!
There are more women on stage than in the audience.
No women in the audience, gee I'm totally surprised
LOL. You're wrong mate - there were quite a few there that day. Ever since TSS, Rush's female audience has grown.
@@movingpictures-rushtributewhat's TSS??
@@graysonmichael8335 Time Stand Still
Terrible mix, shame on the soundman.
Otherwise a bloody brilliant performance...
covering the greatest 3 person rock band ever cant be easy. youre fearless, and pretty darn good too :)
