- With global oil resources diminishing and China's fossil fuel dependency causing an energy crisis in the nation, China became more aggressive in its trade talks with the United States. With the United States unwilling to export oil to China, Chinese-American relations turned for the worse.
With conditions deteriorating between the U.S. and China, a military presence in Alaska was established to prevent a possible invasion across the Bering Strait. With increasingly scarce oil reserves, a last deep-sea deposit below the Pacific Ocean was claimed by China before allegedly being sabotaged by American special operatives. Strained relationships spiraled downward into conflict as Chinese forces marched into Alaska, officially starting the Sino-American War. Under the command of General Jingwei, the Chinese Army usurped control of Alaska's oil pipelines and reserves.
Under the leadership of General Constantine Chase, the U.S. Army battled fiercely at the front lines of the conflict before Chase began deploying specialized power armor units that began pushing the Chinese back. Future power armor suits were further refined as the conflict dragged on, and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline was reclaimed. With American resources flowing through Canada, strained diplomatic relations between the two countries became problematic. Canada was militarily annexed with the near sabotage of the Alaskan pipeline.

Imagine if the game began similarly to this way so you have a feel for what the male sole survivor went through before. Like before you customized your character you played through this to get a feel for gunplay in this game.
YES! I think it's more fitting to introduce their gunplay mechanics with some sort of flashbacks like this rather than giving a Power armor and a Minigun so early in the game at Concord level.
After the flashback, the screen went with a white flash and then we are greeted with the usual mirror-customize scene we know, perfection.

They had the Fo3 version of the Gauss Rifle and from what i gathered the converting of the Mining Tank was faked by General Constantine
while i find the video is well made there is only one mistake that kinda bugged me.
The combat armor should be White since this is playing in Anchorage and in Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage you wear this type of Combat armor.
Pelinal Whitestrake But...Bethesda didn't use that white combat armor when they included a section about the Anchorage War in the cinematic intro of Fallout 4. Even the Sole Survivor was seen wearing what this video creator used, at the last scene.

XtraGamingHD I was referring to the very last scene. Where we see a soldier, the Sole Survivor holding a picture of his woman, Nora. Walking down a road, with full military gear.
XtraGamingHD If you look closely at the last scene of the Fallout 4 intro, you will see that the soldiers are marching in a snowy and mountainous area. If that isn't Alaska, then it doesn't make sense to put it there because the other scenes also depict the Chinese invasion of Alaska. The Sole Survivor must've fought in that war as well. Which is why he has a very good idea about War...and how it never changes.
Amazing work.
A few things though for note
-white combat armour
-less lasers, they weren't that widespread
-china didn't have vertibirds maybe use a Chinese jet?
-less radio stuff, a little overwhelming
Other than that a job well done. Keep it up.

I love it but one thing you could have used fiberglass armor if possible to simulate the winter look

Great Video! one small complaint that most of the people fighting seemed to be using lasers, in anchorages there was laser weapons used but very few. just a small gripe though great video
Fabled_cat false,in the intro the main character and is regular army are holding laser rifles,and on Boston there is a federal office that collects fire arms and lasers,which if the public had such easy access to must mean that the army would probably have more.

Well for starters this was one of the best reenactment videos I’ve seen you did the very best you could with what could and it was actually really good it would be definitely awsome if you could make another I thought the flashbacks with the mission was pretty interesting it tells the story and the lore of the fallout games keep up the great work

While this video is completely inaccurate to the fallout franchise, this is one of my favorite fallout machinma. This is amazing! Keep up the amazing work.
I am sure you have seen the comments about the laser weapons, Chinese vertibird, and the green combat armor, but I have some other things. The Bottlecaps explosions from the Scrounger(?) perk need to not happen. I also noticed your character tends to turn briefly invisible after crouching, a glitch from the Chameleon Armor pieces that you should get sorted out.
Other than those things, I liked the video! I particularly enjoyed the transitions from Canada to Alaska. I will certainly be waiting for the next video.

Are the soldiers that you’re fighting against suppose to be partisans in Yukon?
Very good video, definitely looks like it took a while to make. Some critiques though. 1: small problem but the combat armor and uniforms were green when they should have been white but not a big problem. 2: the enemy you were fighting had nothing but laser rifles when there was mostly modern weapons like a 5.56 rifle and 10mm pistol, still good though. 3: I don't really think the Chinese had sentry bots but I can't really say. I understand by the looks you didn't use mods that give you things that I mentioned were "problems", I would definitely recommend some mods as they could solve a number of problems/situations. ex: outfits and weapons. Other wise, really good and keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more

I've always been extremely curious about pre-war fallout wars the operation Anchorage dlc was a field day for me but what about the annexation of Canada or the Gobi desert campaign I'm glad that someone else has interest

this is VERY cool. I always thought the Bethesda Fallout Games and Obsidian's New Vegas are very good at depicting infantry combat. The large, blinding, devastating explosions really sell it too.
Hey this was great and all. But seeing how old this is and seeing the news about mods really make me happy. You should look into them. The US assault rifle is out, Chinese assault rifle is out, new combat armor is out, color mods etc! Please let me know you saw this. As it was very well executed. Just the lore is kinda not there.
Also someone made the fallout 3-nv pistol for 4. Id look into that too!

This is amazing, one small thing, possibly use the "Immersive Gameplay" Mod? It'll reduce how much time it takes to shred enemies with the Minigun that should realistically kill them in seconds.

Devin Rowe Great idea. I will try using that mod, cus it might makes the scene on the Anchorage more immersive. For the Canada scene I think I'm gonna stay with the normal non mod gunner because the enemies on Canada was a rioter, not a chinese soldier.
Dean Delavega for the protesters use some scavangers with tire irons and Molotov cocktails the rough and torn clothing would fit perfectly with some civilians being oppressed

Should've been Nate. Bethesda forgot he was a soldier. It'd would've been nice to see him in a prologue or something. It would've made a great tutorial.
For your next video get the us airforce vietnam era retexture of the vertibird it fits well with pre war and the enclave aswell as the chinese outfits mod and ak47 mod for them and operation anchorage uniforms mod then you got yourself anchorage but a great start so far keep it up!
I would like if you had made the T-51B to have a winter camo and is in the game and you could have put a different camouflage on the armor to but any thing was great!

KANE AND ABLE There were. There's a whole sequence in which 3 U.S soldiers in Winterized T5-B Are vertibirded to your location.
