The Intelligence committee is investigating Russia's continued interference in our elections and National Security. That is their job to provide oversight. I have watched the Republican party claim to be THE party of truth and morality for decades. They are now turning us into a banana 'republic'!
They now prevent a lot of legislation that would be of benefit to most if not all Americans. They have become an obstructionist political force that aides criminals and pretend they don't see criminal activity in the highest offices in the country. With the exception of perhaps two Republicans, they defend those criminals with almost religious fervor to convince apparently ignorant constituents and their well polarized voters.
But there is a responsibility for those of us who are American in its best sense, who have eyes to see and the fortitude to actually work to confirm the 'facts' they merely believe to be true, before they cast their vote for a government that would quickly erode the protections for their own lives, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness. It has happened in other countries and it can happen to us.
