I can’t say I enjoyed Showcase mode. I really get frustrated with specific instructions during matches
And the fact that they skipped so many good matches like cena vs the rock and triple H vs Undertaker

Dunno how Bray and Johns first match didn’t get it there, AJ Vs Taker in the Boneyard match would’ve been fun, AJ Vs Shane Mchmahon is an underrated banger too
Same seems more like idk just foxusing on that and not enjoying moembt or match wish we could play and general things would unlock cut scenes or less specific ifk

No Taker v Kane from 1998, No Bret vs HBK from 1996, Ken Shamrock v Rock from 1998 could have been a prospect too. Possibly even Taker vs Kane from 2004 could have been good too. No Rock vs Cena matches. No HHH or the Taker matches either. HHH vs Rollins from 2017 was a good one too
The lack of missing matches is insane. Should have had at least 40 matches for the show case.

Showcase mode is a painful mode to play as it is. I don't need 40 matches of it

Daniel bryan is a weird omission , since if we use the Rock ru le they could still use him even though he is i AEW (during 05 or 06 to 2010 the Rock was not under contr act to wwe but they cou ld use his likeness and Name since they owned it).
I agree with the nostalgic aspect, but showcase is such a pain to play through I don’t think I could play through 40 of these showcase matches.

I play NBA 2k24 and WWE 2k24 and I'm extremely happy with all the details in each game
You can literally create eras in both with modern or current rules

can't even play this game on pc without crashing or lagging that when you attack you can only hit the light attack buttom and you can't do anything else so you have to spam and move to an combo and THEN you can use the other attacks

Honestly it’s kind of a rip off calling it 40 years of Wrestlemaina considering the fact that the showcase doesn’t include all of the Wrestlemania’s. The showcase doesn’t include Wrestlemaina 1,2,4,7,9,10,11,12,14,15,16,18,19,22,23,24,26,27,28,29,32,33,34
2K14 did it right it included all of the Wrestlemania’s in 30 Years Of Wrestlemaina.
I'm thankful that they realized that just because of 1 or 2 people's actions it doesn't ruin the entire legacy of a match

37:55- I never saw this “real” match before…… but if any of the stuff I just watched is actually in the real match, then I’m happy I’ve never wasted my time watching it!!! And it would look way more comical watching all the changes with real people acting like they didn’t just stop recording, let them change their clothes and then hit record again lmao

these showcase modes are legitimately one of the worst gamemodes i’ve ever played unfortunately.
2K should really stop to use real fotage into showcase and simulated movements with game like old times by that we prevent less work for youtubers for the copyright fotage in game and we can see without cut, come on 2K try think about it.

11:48- I use to be a huge Bret “Hit Man” Hart fan! Never much of a fan of the colors he picked for his gear!?! Until he started doing the darker pink (I’m not a fan of pink and NO, real men don’t wear pink! Real men don’t try to trick other men by shaming them into liking any color)!!! And I think my favorite gear he wore was the one he wore against Stone Cold in that submission match or maybe the one he wore during the screw job match (I really can’t remember what the 2nd one looks like off the top of my head)!!!

13:02- Um, what?!? You could do that in 2k23 also!?! And (I could be wrong but) I’m pretty sure you could do it also on 2k22!?! Now what you actually see is different (like there’s actually 2 belts hanging in a ladder match instead of 1…. But that means very little since you still only get to see yourself or the winner take down 1! And it’s weird, because in the regular VS mode you’ll unhook 1 of the 2 belts and the victory scene is still the ref handing you both belts lol And then When you come out you have multiple options on how to rock both belts! During your introduction and victory scenes)! There’s a lot of things I wish 2K would add/fix but I have at least a top 10 of things that I would think if they add, then each would be huge for them!!! But I would only bother writing them all down if and only if I know for a fact that anyone that has anything to actually do with 2K would see it, read it and actually put some thought into it!?!
