Crazy Bobsled Water Slide: Screamin' Mini at Water World CO

This is the Screamin' Mini water slide at Water World in Federal Heights, Colorado, United States. For this attraction, guests have to grab a sledge from the bottom of the attraction and carry it to the entrance of the ride. When its their turn, they place the sledge onto a conveyor belt and wait for the lifeguard to pull the lever. Once they are good to go, they plunge down a steep drop before slithering across the water until they come to a stop.

They used to have these slides at Adventure Island, Water Country USA, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Arlington, and World Waterpark in Canada. Why are there so few of, if any, of these around today?
