Great stuff as always Josh!!! These bird boxes got me thinking of a "master" carpenter I got to know a while back (Norm Abrams kind of stuff). He was old-time, old school, always in overalls, pencil in-ear, and piece of straw, from a hey field, in his mouth.
Nothing he did would be getting covered in vinyl or aluminum... lol.
He did a lot of work for the Johnsons of the Johnson & Johnson Pharma fame in NJ.
One day he's in the shop building windows, for the Johnsons, and I was like... there's a company out there called Pella ya know?? He just looked at me kinda funny.
