Exactly the same thing happened to me in January this year. Hacked by a fake brand deal email; logged me out/changed password. Crypto videos and streams uploaded with all branding changed. Reached out to YT on Twitter and they helped get it back after accidentally deleting it. Horrible feeling.

This also happened to my channel last year. I woke up to a cardano crypto spokesperson live-streaming. All of my videos set as private, channel name, banner, everything changed. Lost a few subs too. I was just able to resolve it that same day, thank goodness!

My pc minecraft details got changed a few months back and my brothers xbox account was almost gone but luckily enough i recieved an email from microsoft saying there was an attempt on trying to change the password on the account. Try to have multiple emails guys and check them regular to spot any weird activity (VPN subscription also informs you of breaches if your emails are linked). Tgf were lucky enough to be recognised influencers and have the links in the community to regain control of their channel and if any you guys are on a smaller scale then you might not have the same chance as jay and rommel did
