This really helped us for our very first charter in the BVI's last June. Took lots of pictures. Thank you. Watching this helped take the edge off by seeing what to look for, and we had a flawless week bopping around the islands.
Great videos, I like the “how to” summaries! Keep them coming : -)
Yeeaaaaah! Hahahah. Nice to see you Jack. Stay alive :)
Hi Guys, I just stumbled on your channel. Its a great refresher. I got my ASA 104 last summer and I'm bareboating with the family in 3 weeks! definitely need to freshen up on most things.
Love these guys.
Great first post James, looking forward to more.
Guys, just wanted to say that. Our vids are seriously underrated. Great stuff and content!
Are you still sailing?
Hey Captain! Great video. keep 'em coming! Cheers!
Thanks! Next episode out next week :)
You guys are a riot!
Thanks Mike!
Ahoy Sailing Virgins! Don't forget about the fuel key and additional types at the end of the
electrical plug-in :)
You guys are classic
I would look for any water in the bilge before setting sails up….. it’s very important to know if a certain amount of water in the bilge is supposed to be normal
Very helpful thanks
thankyou so much
Great video!!!!
Thanks!!
I’d add to this: check you have enough spare lines ! Long and short. Better to have too many than too few
Hi guys! Nice and useful video. I'd add to check the bilge pumps. Hopefully you don't have to use them, but just in case!
And also worth to check life jackets and pyrotechnics (expiry date), location of fire extinguishers and other safety gear. I had to use once the fog horn because we found ourselves in the middle of a fog bank and couldn't find it because I didn't checked beforehand its location.
Thanks for the comment Manu! That's a good one. We have amended our blog post to include it. It's in point 10, Other Items.
Guys, in one episode you said that number 1 rule is to looking good. So what was 7:10 all about 😂
you guys are a hoot! good info plus Bee Gees at the end. what more can you ask for? thank you!
Haha love the Bee Gees
Dream boats, innit?
