Saw the Crüe in 94. Awesome show. They did Home Sweet Home acoustic like this. My buddy and I still talk about how cool it was to hear it acoustic. 🤘🏻
John Corabi is a great singer .. Damn it..
John's voice is a real singers voice. And he goes out and does it like this, just him, just a guitar, nothing fake or pumped up here. What a PRO!
I got the chance to hang out with Crab in Nashville and you couldn't meet a more genuine person! I've said it before and I'll say it again, had Motley stuck it out with him, they may have started a revolution in the music business!! The 94 record is friggin killer!!!

I've said the very same. I still believe that had that album been marketed they could have built enough momentum to kill the whole grunge thing. The shake up at elektra in the 90,s and the company not getting behind that album was a huge mistake and motley crue going backwards to suit management put them in the forever nostalgia act league. As bad as I hate to say it and as big a fan as I was in the 80,s I would not pay 15 cents to go see that stadium tour. Their pitiful and it's very clear that the fire went out when corabi got canned but as he says in his book hid life is as it should be and I'm happy for him

@sha broussard like ozzy, vince has what i like to call flawed magic. By no means are those two perfect singers, but they are legends in their rights cos of how they can captivate audiences n give them their money's worth
@sha broussard fair enough. personally imo vince still has it, he can still hit notes, just not enough energy to sustain pronouncing lyrics and words properly or move around which is sad, if he works out he can definitely pull off similar vocals he did in the carnival of sins tour or even the generation swine tour
Motley Crue would still be around if they didn't bring Vince Sqeal back, Corabi is an amazing musician and singer

Funny thing is,....Tommy has said for years the '94 album was the best they ever did. Mick has worked with John regularly since '94....(in fact within days of Motley's last concert, Mick was in the studio with John).....and when Nikki started his first real "solo" band (Brides)....who's the first guy he called? Crabby. I lost some respect for the guys in caving to the label about bringing Vince back. I like Vince, I love Motley.....but all 3 of them obviously knew the '94 album was their best....and they caved. And as far as singing live.....Vince is no match for John. Anyone that says other wise is full of shit.

John definitely fit the new sound back in 94' they were going for, but I also had the CD back then and it wasn't Motley. Just like it says in the Dirt, Vince was and will always be Motley Crue.
Such a talented guy, no disrespect for Vince, but this could be a very good alternate band
1994 Motley album with Corabi is up there with Dr. Feelgood for sure. The best 2 records songwriting and sonically, although maybe shouldn't compare, such different times.. Although one of my fave Motley songs is Danger off Shout at the Devil!! Corabi is solid AF! It was a tough time to be Motley Crue in 1994, but they made the best album possible for sure. I love it! Well done Crab! As a Motley and music fan the best most consistent albums are Shout, Feelgood and Motley Crue with Corabi.

@@gustavohautedrumslessons3063 Well, Vince can hit higher notes, which fits better in Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. In my opinion, Vince sings better but John has a better vocal drive.
Oui en studio avec arrangements sampling et tout le tralala parce que d'un Corabi a une vraie voix et de plus un super musicien, Neil ne vaut rien alors oui je préfère la version studio avec Neil mais sur scène il ne reproduit jamais ce qui est fait en studio ! Corabi est largement mais alors largement au-dessus d'ailleurs pour moi le meilleur album de Crue est celui sans Neil avec Vince il n'aurait jamais put le faire trop limité !!

You are also used to Vince singing the songs you like...natural to find anyone else doing the vocals a bit off.
I love Corabi and will always say he's better than Vince. But this song just sounds better with Vince singing it.

I'm glad he let the audience sing Home Sweet Home since he can't really pull it off anymore. I don't think his voice was ever suited for ballads since he was more of a shouter/screamer. I always liked Vince Neil's voice in the studio (after multiple takes) but I don't know how he compares live to Corabi.

I am imagine to 'drift way' with vince nail, how will be more beautiful than this guy's unconfortable throat voice pitching. And i find what i think is so rigt by listening his ' home bitter home' , find no sweetness there. Real rock singer can use chest voice , neck voice and head voice accordingly to the song he sing. But this guy's just a uni tone.
