Joel we live in the country in Ireland where it’s wet and perfect weather for rodents and field mice. We have three outdoor cats who have an outdoor house on our porch. They leave us mice every day without fail from spring to autumn. We have two dogs too so they keep us rodent free without the need for mouse traps. When we lived in the city we had rats to contend with which were worse !! Hated them. We did get the electronic deterrents and only one year were we bothered with rats around our garage. Useful video

I never new there were different sensitivities on those original traps. I'm going to go look at mine now. AND put them next to a wall. Thanks for these great tips that I didn't know I even needed!

We use the sound plugs in our trailer when not in use. The ones I have are on automatically when plugged in.

Joel, check inside your appliances ' engines. Once, I had a rat in my house that made a nest in the fridge's engine. There were 12 little mice in there.....

The sticky traps are horrendous and inhumane. But I get why you use them.

We have a large field behind our house. We got sonic ones, and I haven't seen any or evidence since, doesn't mean they aren't around.
How many mice did you find when you got home?😂

I use the Vector rodent plugins I believe they are 10 for 30$ on Amazon. I don’t live close to a Walmart or any store. 30+ miles I keep a plugin in every room. It maybe over kill but it makes me feel better.
16 yrs not a single rodent in my home and suddenly last late fall bingo I see droppings.

If using humane traps to release, ensure you are at least 2 miles away from your home - they can find their way back!!

I'm happy that having just one cat keeps the mice away from our house. Our cat she is a indoor/outdoor, and no need for a litter box indoors because she always goes outside. đŸ± Because I don't like mice! 🐀

Please don’t use sticky traps! I don’t blame you for needing or wanting to use lethal traps, but please don’t make the mice suffer unnecessarily!

Sticky traps are not humane. Mice will chew their own legs off trying to get off.
