- Day 5 of our Royal Caribbean adventure brings us to the Caribbean island St. Martin. We go to Maho Beach (one of the most famous beaches in the world!) to watch airplane fly over our heads & sip Guavaberry cocktails, explore The Yoda Guy Exhibit in Philipsburg and had the pleasure of interviewing Nick Maley, & then we finish the evening by dining at the fanciest restaurant on Symphony of the Seas (150 Central Park)!

I'm so glad Nick Maley looks so good and is still so positive. The hurricanes wrecked his museum and he had to rebuild and Covid killed the tourism so thankfully he's bouncing back!
I didn’t know that the hurricanes wrecked the museum, that must have been heartbreaking
@@OrdinaryAdventures The museum got beat up decently a few years ago and just as it was repaired the pandemic halted all tourism there. Glad it survived, I look forward to seeing him again out there.

Glad you got to visit Nick. We went in 2017 and had a talk with him as well. Very nice gentleman. Happy to see his place didn't get damaged (or too damaged) by Hurricane Irma (2017). Brings back memories.

I went to Maho Beach back when people held onto the fence when the planes took off. It was so scary. You had to hold on so tight so you wouldn’t get blown away

This was such a fun video!! I loved watching you savor the meal. I performed on ships for years and the food was such a joy. I also sympathized with you on the day the keys came out. We were on tour and doing a show in Atlanta at the time. I was so worried I was going to miss it but my chance to order came just as we hit intermission so I made it. Thanks for another fun time!!!

You two hit the taste of coke zero perfectly... Tastes like it was poured over ice, put in the refrigerator for an hour or so, then poured back and sealed but not recarbonated. Loved the video!!!

27:31 Mmmmmm, Remy Martin Louis XIII. My favorite cognac. I'm guessing it's somewhere in the $250-$350 per shot on the cruise ship. Costco used to sell a decanter for $11,000.

@@OrdinaryAdventures For something that expensive. There is a proper way to present the drink. The snifter should be warmed over a china teacup of hot water before pouring the shot into the glass. The snifter is then set at an angle over the china. This warms the cognac and the angled snifter reduces the alcohol evaporation. Sniff, swirl, and sip the cognac to get the bouquet.... just awesome. I've only had the pleasure of having this once in my life at an open bar. There was no limit on the drink so that is what I ordered. lol
