2022 Community Monuments Fund

Started in 2020, the Fund has been a huge success so far - helping us to protect our monuments for the benefit of local communities and visitors. €6 Million is available for 2022 - money that will not only safeguard our archaeological treasures, but will also support heritage professions and provides job opportunities in archaeology, building conservation and traditional skills.

Well done! Please rescue the standing stone called "Finn McCool's stone" that has fallen and is sinking into the grass in a field at the eastern base of Bruse Hill in Co. Cavan. The field is named "Cloghmore" on the OS map.
