A great video, especially love the awesome shot starting around 8:15. As a transplanted country boy (married city girl, living in the burbs) this channel hits all my nostalgia buttons for "home"
I love all your videos. My family actually used to farm in Grant Co near Bagley. Moved to the "Big" city of Madison as a little one. Still have some aunts and uncles that farm near Bloomington and Fennimore. Anyways, it's nice to be reminded of the farming life I'd see when visiting family. And my 3 year old son loves watching all the tractors and equipment too!
New veiwer/subscriber here. I came from watching CT3 and Logger Wade's videos. I've always been a ford or dodge guy but that truck is a thing of beauty and I love that you use it for what it is........ a truck.
Ryan I think you made the right decision to buy that truck as you will get many years of use out of it and can be used for so many things personal and around the farm.
Ryan, the beef promotion deduction pays for the Beef Checkoff program. That's the group that made the "Beef. It's what's for dinner" videos. They market and lobby for the US beef industry as a whole.
Love the great videos and the family approach! But one thing....a little less truck , and maybe a little more trailer! :) LOL....You use what works and thats great!
At 5:35ish did you have the transmission in tow mode? I think I can add a Jake Brake to my 2005 Thanx from the left coast near the Krapitol of California
they are pretty good now all the biger trucks with diesel engines run good dont break that much and some sound good HOWEVER to anyone looking to buy a new diesel the best thing u can EVER do to the engine is a full delete kit no tuner mods to add power just delete the stupid egr crap and dpf bullcrap and u will find that ALONE add more powe because u dump about 300-800pounds of crap off the truck
yes shoud have bought a truck that had more breakdowns in a month then gmc has had in 25years right for a time anyways ford had a really crapy diesel engine i remember my dad buying a ford f250 brand new off the lot and the engine craped out after about 300miles not 300000miles just 300miles i think it was a 07 or 08 maybe as early as 05-06 honestly tho gmc is fine i prefer dodge but i like the sound of a cummins 6.7L
Our last load we averaged 1.55 a #. Last fall I bought a half dozen feeder calves at the auction for an average of .65 a pound. I wasn't even planning on buying anything that day but I couldn't pass up the deal. Would have bought more but going into the winter we were pretty much at capacity.
Derek Williamson what’s the max tow rating on the l5p bro it’s not 13k is it ? I thought it was over 20k i just saw a vid on the tfl channel and i was pist that they said that haha
Do you buy all of your calves, or breed some of them and buy the rest? Bty love tour truck and trailer, you wont ever have a big problem with it, they have the best transmission out there.
How much sway do you get with the cattle moving around? I have an F150 and when even one cow starts moving around the whole trailer sways bad at highway speed. I also have a bumper pull.
The answer is a bumper pull puts all the weight at the rear of the axle. .. try putting a couple of square bales on the rear to make cows stay in front of the trailer
Do you guys band or cut to get steers? We always banded on my Uncle's ranch since he felt range calves did better using that method. Also, that is a really nice truck! Congratulations!
If you don't mind my asking, what was your average weight and months of age? Just curious how our gains in Texas on grass compare to gains up north for you on grass.
Never mind, should have waited for the last 20 seconds lol. I thought the vid was done when you did the like and subscribe part lol. Good price, ours were avg 591# and 1.32/# a couple weeks back. We enjoy your vids!

I can tell it takes a lot of time and patience to make videos the way you do. Nice job Ryan.
New veiwer/subscriber here. I came from watching CT3 and Logger Wade's videos. I've always been a ford or dodge guy but that truck is a thing of beauty and I love that you use it for what it is........ a truck.
Thank you for using your truck like I asked. I love these vlogs . Keep up the good work 💯😎👊🏻🇱🇷👨🏻🌾
I've risen in the same truck, same everything here in GA. The exhaust brake sounds amazing
Sounds like a good paycheck. Your truck is still so darned sharp!
That belted Galloway/ Dutch belt looked nice on the second load
Ryan I think you made the right decision to buy that truck as you will get many years of use out of it and can be used for so many things personal and around the farm.
Thanks Ryan , Great video and drone work very nice music .
That's what trucks are made for hard work such a nice truck buddy
The drone cams are SO good!
You finally made a hauling cattle vid
great vid pard and real fine Dirtymax you have there! and you got my vote!
Good video! Nice feature on the truck to save wear on the brakes.
That is a beautiful truck!👍🏻
What a great GMC truck🇺🇸🇺🇸
I thought that Denali would be a little out of place on your farm but it actually fits in pretty well.
Now that’s one nice truck there. GMC life
Listen to that Duramax work - NICE!!
Who else agrees he should do more cattle stuff ... cause I do
Trenton Howell m
So cool cool. I love those videos.

Such beautiful cattle😍
GORGEOUS truck.
Seemed to go pretty smooth
I'd like to see the ins and out on the beef cattle like you did on your corn and beef fields, just would be interesting...

Good for you on the 2 grand check Ryan
Healthiest cattle I ever saw 😮

What's your opinion of the Featherlite trailer? Does it meet your needs? Any shortcomings?
At 5:35ish did you have the transmission in tow mode?
I think I can add a Jake Brake to my 2005
Thanx from the left coast near the Krapitol of California
Nice truck. What mud flaps did you install on your truck?
you have a beautiful truck! as you can see I'm a Dodge fan but I'm impressed
Myron Yoder im impressed the GMC didn't break down

it great that you tell us how much you got ....I thought you made a lot more...it shows how much you work !!!k👏👏 you make
I'm curious as to how it towed a full trailer of cattle with the hills in ur area?
Whats the soundtrack? You should put the music in your video descriptions. sounds amazing
How does the calves with the white bellies sell compared to the others?
Our last load we averaged 1.55 a #.
Last fall I bought a half dozen feeder calves at the auction for an average of .65 a pound. I wasn't even planning on buying anything that day but I couldn't pass up the deal. Would have bought more but going into the winter we were pretty much at capacity.
Thank you for your share 👍🏼👋🏼✊🏽🤘🏽🚜
3:11 "we're gonna work VEEERY carefully" pulls out a massive stick
what did you do for a feed ratio? They really grew for their age.
Love my 2019 L5P SIerra 2500, pulls like no other, like my 2018 Ram 2500 too.
Derek Williamson what’s the max tow rating on the l5p bro it’s not 13k is it ? I thought it was over 20k i just saw a vid on the tfl channel and i was pist that they said that haha
@@madmaxxcrosby I believe is 23000 lb. I've had 23,000 lbs behind mine and it handled it all so well it could handle a lot more actually.
Thank you yes that’s what i figured would be the weight behind a toy hauler with some toys inside and a couple quads
Where did you wash your truck? At Miracle in Dubuque?
Nice truck
Nice ride!! Diesel??
Looks great seeing the Denali making you money, too. Show all the haters that even pretty trucks don't just sit. Great vid, as always!!!
Bill Craddock fords and dodges usually cost people money so it was a good choice buying a gm product
Ryan, on your video "is it red" about a year ago what was it?
Nice Truck
Thanks for the share👍🏻😮
Where is this farm. Sorry for ask ,but l would like to know.
You should get the additional backup cameras for that beast. They fit on the mirrors and have a wireless cam for the trailer.
Have you guys thought about a bigger trailer?
Now that is putting a Duramax to good use!!!!
fuck you martin
martin joseph lmao
Menino trabalhador muito bom. 👍
Have you ever thought about modifying you new truck? Deleting, wheels/tires etc?
Could you tell me the name of this song?
How far is the sales barn from your farm
What editing program are you using?
how much did they others pay you to haul their cattle?
Good working
Do you buy all of your calves, or breed some of them and buy the rest? Bty love tour truck and trailer, you wont ever have a big problem with it, they have the best transmission out there.
We had 50 head of limousines and they were like wild deer . There calves were crazy . Our fences were just for show lol .
How much sway do you get with the cattle moving around? I have an F150 and when even one cow starts moving around the whole trailer sways bad at highway speed. I also have a bumper pull.

What drone do your have?
What Bloomington did you talk about??
are you going to keep your truck stock
Would you ever pull a trailer like that with a 2500HD with a gas motor? The 6.6L maybe?
What state you live in
My question is do you take the lifter on the horse trailer for nobody don't steal it
That is my dream truck blue 2017 l5p duramax
Brenden Raths duramax is shit
they didn't recall nothing
martin joseph funny you say that. Year later, ford has 1.5 million recalls
It would be nice if you could break down for us what the profit margin is on raising bottle calves and the man hours it involved on a per cow basis.
Awesome videos
Do you need a dot number to haul livestock?
Do you guys band or cut to get steers? We always banded on my Uncle's ranch since he felt range calves did better using that method. Also, that is a really nice truck! Congratulations!
We do both, really just depends on the time of year and the age and health of the bulls.
Thanks for the reply. I'm always interested in how folks in other parts of the country handle their cattle. Keep the great videos coming.
Very nice
Anyone know where can i get similar trailer?? Thanks
best duo chevy/GMC and John Deere the best
What is this song called?
How you like that GMC?
How long is trailer?
What’s the towing capacity
are you guys going to keep the small RORTY CUTER
What breed of Cattle should I start out with as a beginner
Angus cross
I live in northern wi, what sales barn do you use? Thanks
Nevermind saw it later in the video
is the truck a diesel?

I'd be interested to know why you sold the cattle now instead of fattening them up to sell later.
Yes, nice truck, Denali no less.
What was that think you looked at 3:47
