Hello Everyone, I finally finished my finals and oral surgery. I'm glad to see the comments you guys posted and also the discussions that were had. I'm now well aware of the errors I had in the video and even the poor audio issues. I also want to say thank you to Anomalous Dugout for sharing this video and basically doubled up the views for more people to see. Next week I'm gonna start on a video where I go back to this video and make corrections and add more information with some entries. I also want to do the other Iceberg as there are more cool things I can talk about there. Again Thank you all again.

whatever package you are using, try a feature called "normalization" on your videos...this levels out the audio, preventing stuff from being mumbled/quiet and other stuff being loud AF
anyways, a real pity I cannot get those games to run properly...CS crashes in the city everytime and CoP, I have not even played because of that...only SoC runs...sometimes...lol...but I have played it enough in the past...
if only I had someone to grant me a wish...or two :p

So about repairing anomalies. In SoC (and it works only in SoC) you need to equip 4-5 same artifacts (batteries or pellicles for example) and just stand in the anomaly that against you have good defence. Because of that insane resistance (over 100%), you actually gonna restore your armor durability and hp and don't take any damage. Good video btw, but kinda hard to hear you.

14:46 Yeah exactly what I was expecting from the iceberg, but not from the video itself. AFAIK the meme started after JP2's death on Polish imageboards to troll people as Poland is a deeply religious country and JP2 had a cult of personality, where people see him as a demigod even. A lot of those really OG ones involved pasting the poorly made rendition of JP2 known as "yellow face" on very extreme imagery involving gore, scat, bestiality etc to cause the most shock value, but with time it just devolved into "haha JP2GMD 2137 funny" where any original intentions of causing offense have been long forgotten and it has been reduced to braindead shitposting.
Then sound levels could be a bit better but you'll get there. I know you made a joke about "STALKER is real", but maybe the author of the iceberg was referring to people travelling to the actual exclusion zone and visiting Pripyat and other famous locations

Monolith interogation tapes was either a pda entry you can find/random stalker gossip about how its impossible to get a useful Monolith prisoner. They will flight to the very end if they can, martyrdom themselves if that fails, or repeatily hit themselves against a wall if they are subdued non-lethally somehow. Only mantras, ramblings, and the such were ever gleamed from their cases and thats as good as they got.
There are two Russian wikis - stalker.fandom one is more for retail and lore and stalker-game.fandom one is more for cut content and development history.
Now do the for lore iceberg.
The lost /v/ mod is more than likely some sort of mod pack like you said. Similar to what EFP 3.0 is today, /v/ would have tripcode users that posted “installs” of mods that were typically incompatible with each other that they bridged to make work. A lot of the time there was malware, or they were troll packs where all the textures are replaced with reaction images.
It could also have something to do with Dead Air/Gunslinger; I remember when the first screenshots of glow sticks working in game made the entire board into an Eastern European street market for a few weeks.
The silly yet sometimes serious way you speak about everything makes you sound like a real Stalker.

Thanks for the feedback man, I know I butchered the plots for lost alpha and Oblivion lost not the greatest. And I missed important stuff with C-con(strelok and the wish granted), Or not knowing what the interrogation tapes were. Hopefully enough when I make a follow up I'll try and redo some of the info that I missed or didn't add up with.

Sorry to hear about that, the audio software that I used to record had the stuff I record turn out loud. It's been a long while since I recorded a video. But yeah I admittedly was lazy and didn't tweak the audio for the finale time but in the future It's gonna get better soon for sure. :)

causes more harm than good
Here's how anomaly repairs work. I learned it myself and as it turns out it must be something written in human instinct bcs many people know about this
There are expensive but rare arts in soc that give 30% prot against one element without bad effects, for example membrane does that for chemical anomalies
Filling all 5 slots with this one gives you 150% prot
Anomalies not only damage your health, but also your armor. But with this amount of prot, you start taking negative damage to your armor so you can repair your suit just by going afk in the anomaly. Works with all effects as long as you have enough slots, and ofc arts. You can also mod your game to have 20 art slots, get 20 mama's beads, and become completly bulletproof
There's also a way to fix your weapon.
If you have a gun that's worth the effort, for example strelok's AK, find a rookie with just a pistol. Preferably a bandit to not loose any rep bcs it will include harming him.
Drop the gun his way so he will pick it up. Next, shoot his legs and arms until he gets on the ground begging for a medkit. Takes trial and error, but when he finally drops down he will drop the gun. Game engine didn't care to remember the guns durability, so it will give it back to you with full green bar.
Side note - it's hard to find rpg rockets, but you can trade one rpg launcher for one rocket by droping it on anyone and killing him. No matter what, he will have one rocket in his inv. And since there's more lainchers than rockets in soc, it's only good way to get them

im not sure if you fixed this part or not but the universal soldier entry is not just a mod that was supposed to release but it was a scrapped mutant from shadow of chernobyl and the mutant was actually really cool.
