The worst locations known to the Foundation; Russia, Antarctica, North Korea and Lord forgive me for saying its name.........Wisconsin
I feel so targeted
How about indiana?
I thought it would be Florida lol.
I mean there's some pretty... interesting scp in Indiana. Might as well categorize that whole area as anomalous lol.
Not into American culture, so what wronf with Wisconsin? I mean I know the Florida man and send him to Detroit meme. But what's with Wisconsin?
"Jerry was delegated to one of the worst places ever!"
"Oh no... North Korea?"
"Worse... Wisconsin!"

Show of hands: who else assumed that "Keter Duty" involved following 682 around with a broom?
I would’ve assumed that duty automatically went to the guy who can’t die
@@KainaX122 No wonder why Bright went mad, must have been stinky.
My first thought was Keter Duty meant that you would be assigned to guard SCP-106, a entity that is impossible to contain and likes to pretend it is contained for several months at a time, only for it to suddenly break out one day and murder everyone.
@@mercce6750 no. Isn’t there an SCP which is just a guy that dies but is “re-spawned” at his bed? There’s a YT animation series based around a character like that
Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if that turned out to be one of Bright’s punishments every once in a while
Edit: The series is ‘Confinement’ by Lord Bung
🖐️🖐️🖐️
I thought this scp-001 was just one overpowered janitor who kept all other Keter anomalies in check
There isn't but imagine this guy being the only reality warper to re-contain 682? 'cause that fo mo has survived sooo many termination attempts, it's surprising the Foundation can keep him contained. SCP-001: The Keter Cleaner

To me, the two articles are very clear in purpose: a facility housing Keter objects is, itself, by definition a Keter class object. The facilities are each others foil, in an attempt by the entity that governs the containment pairs to contain itself.
Oh wow this is brilliant. Thank you for the headcanon
That does makes a helluva alot more sense... a Ying and Yang sorta thing.

Right? I've just started playing the game, and it really feels like an unofficial love letter to SCP so far.
@@karlturner5678 That's cause it is. The devs of control have stated that they took huge inspiration from the SCP universe.

The story is a Yin-Yang concept i'd say. A light one with a dark point and a dark one with a light point. Maybe the sites themselves have to keep each other in check because one alone would be too Keter?
That's how I thought the video was going to end, with the conclusion that, and we don't know the order, one contains the other.
@@blackmage665 I'd rather they contain each other, from each pov the other one appears contained. smth like that. v°v
I sure do like the notion of Wizards and Werewolves being the primary defense against the worst of the worst.
Not to mention that the facility can occasionally turn humanoid Keters into Foundation employees lol.
I amuse myself how such stories are imagined. The fact that the SCP universe is a collaborative project is one of the best things about it. Each author brings a new perspective to the fictional universe and I love it.
The best part is how most of these stories are so different yet so similar to one another
Actually that's the worst part about it because nothing is regulated and nothing means anything.
So, this is basically a collection of "How It Should Have Ended" for all the KETER SCP entries?
yep
This Keter HISHE looks cool
I like hishe
There are two Keter Duty Facilities, all of them working to contain Keter-class SCPs by pairing them together so their effects cancel each other out. Which, of course, means those facilities cancel each other out and as a result, help maintain the status quo.
The foundation really hates Wisconsin huh.
Or far more likely in the SCP universe, Wisconsin hates everyone else
Well Wisconsin does have the town that got fucked by bears, and Sloth's Pit.
Another possibility is that Wisconsin is inherently anomalous and naturally repulses existence. Therefore *Wisconsin hates existence*
Not quite. The foundation neither loves nor hates Wisconsin. They just have more work there and built a facility to help with that because of the Keter level duty there on top of it all. If the foundation hated Wisconsin, they would have used their access to SCP beings and vast wealth to actually ruin Wisconsin, probably having the whole state converted into a "free prison" complex or some other dystopia.
You can't go universe vs. opinion on anything that has fact as subjective to feelings.
That's how cults work in their sophistry.
Yep I'm moving back to Mexico, fuck Wisconsin
So it's all a delicately balanced mess of Keter class SCP all containing each other. It sounds like hell to be there, even outside containment.
Hell is other people but SCP
Also, other people have brought up this idea, that the facilities themselves are Keter class objects and they contain one another
"Somebody come *Keter!* She's dancing like a strippah!"
Under rated 😂😂
Hahahahhaa
🤣🤣🤣

Countering the most dangerous anomalies with more dangerous anomalies, in an extremely delicate dance of death?

The two Keter duties are the perfect Ying-Yang scenario. Darkness in the world of light, light in the void of darkness. Something old, yet something new. Losing hope and grasping the spark. Beauty in the Ugliness

Bro the background music on this is E L I T E. Right around 16:00 the smoooooooth repeating piano chord took my soul and I couldn't take my attention anywhere else. Good fucking job.
Was super confused as to why the old proposal was removed. The explanation finally cleared things up for me.
What if the two different versions of this SCP in and of themselves constitute two keter class anomalies containing each other? One with a dark future, opposing one which is hopeful. It’s possible that a route within the first facility connects to the second, and vice versa. The whole theme of these articles is duality and balance, and if both contained the other, that sounds perfect.
I love how all these screenshots are just from Control. The parallels are eerie, but it was really funny to me.
I was so confused trying to read this one just yesterday, thanks for this man! Love your content

I literally just started my second playthrough of Control today. Have described the game to my wife and friends as "the scp game," since i first played it about a year ago.
It sounds like the facility considers itself a Keter, and needed to contain itself somehow.
So it split itself in two, so it may oppose itself for all eternity.
Sorta like magnets, holding each other together outside of space and time.
I forgot which is which but one version has Keter classification and the other Thaumiel

I fought forest fires and occasionally came across old men cutting trees and climbing mountains of fire with a vigor that was unnatural for their age. This is one of the best 001 proposals
Thank god you posted this. I was afraid I might actually try to go to sleep at a decent time.
I find the idea very interesting that both articles contain processes for anomalies counteracting each other and keeping each other in check , and so in turn the 2 articles counteract each other and keep each other in check; from choice of tone to their endings. Fascinating idea.
So this 001 proposal is what really keeping SCP-049, 096, and 173 from being re-classified from Euclid to Keter even if there are researchers wanting to destroy them for being too dangerous
Fun fact: In Project Isorropia, a collaborative page for the 001 proposal, 096 and 035 are used to contain each other.
Lord knows I'm keter class.
My job feels like keter duty
And how exactly are you hard to contain?
@@heinrichze-france4089 I writhe around and squiggle and I scream, "look at me twisting! See me twist!?"
@@porkchopulator ... okay.
Porkchopulator: am entity that will continually writhe and squirm around yelling out for people to "see how it twists". If not regularly engaged said twisting will begin to distort the local environment, often bending it into non Euclidean geometry.
Strig Wilson: an entity that upon being assigned a "job", will cause any who also participate in it to begin to feel overwhelmed by the parameters of the job, regardless of experience in the task. If not assigned any job, tasks performed by the entity will have the same effects within an expanding mile radius, necessitating constant employment.
Containment: Strig Wilson is currently employed to "writhe and squirm and shout for people to look at how he twists". This has caused Porkchopulator to have lowered activity, often complaining how hard it is to twist, relating it to teaching yoga while cramped. Because of the consequences and large payment, Strig Wilson has currently made no signs of resigning.
